In the story of Mary, the sister of Lazarus, we get to see what Jesus teaches us about sin and God’s Forgiveness!

Mary, the sister of Lazarus was one of Jesus’ friends, and she knew she was a sinner – she knew she had made unhealthy choices which led her to an unhealthy life. She understood she needed Jesus to turn her life around!

And Jesus tells her how it is her faith that saves her, not her works. We can’t save ourselves or “make it up” to God with our good deeds – that’s now how God set things up. But we can have faith in Him and His Finished Work on the cross and be saved, and forgiven!
