Let us Hear the CONCLUSION Of the WHOLE Matter & Whole Duty of Man Fear God & Do His Commandments

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Definitions of duty:
*work that you are obliged to perform for moral or legal reasons
*the social force that binds you to your obligations and the courses of action demanded by that force
* Military, Ecclesiastical, allegiance, loyalty, fidelity, reverance, homage

Ecclesiastes 12 (KJV)
12 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain: 3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,

4 And The Doors Shall Be Shut In The Streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a Burden, And Desire Shall Fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8 Vanity Of Vanities, Saith The Preacher; All Is Vanity.
9 And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
10 The Preacher Sought To Find Out Acceptable Words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
WORD OF THE WISE AS GOADS
11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
WEARINESS OF CONSTANT STUDY
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
HEAR THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
ALL THINGS WILL BE BROUGHT TO LIGHT
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil

Definitions of goad:
• a verbalization that encourages you to attempt something
• a pointed instrument used to prod into motion
• prod or urge as if with a log stick
• urge with or as if with a goad
• goad or provoke,as by constant criticism
• give heart or courage to

Definitions of whole:
• including all components without exception; being one unit or constituting the full amount or extent or duration; complete
• (of siblings) having the same parents
• exhibiting or restored to vigorous good health
• to a complete degree or to the full or entire extent (wholly')

***AGAING THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER***

Ecclesiastes 12 (MSG)
12 1-2 Honor and enjoy your Creator while you’re still young, Before the years take their toll and your vigor wanes, Before your vision dims and the world blurs And the winter years keep you close to the fire.

3-5 In old age, your body no longer serves you so well. Muscles slacken, grip weakens, joints stiffen.
The shades are pulled down on the world. You can’t come and go at will. Things grind to a halt.
The hum of the household fades away. You are wakened now by bird-song.
Hikes to the mountains are a thing of the past. Even a stroll down the road has its terrors.
Your hair turns apple-blossom white, Adorning a fragile and impotent matchstick body.
Yes, you’re well on your way to eternal rest, While your friends make plans for your funeral.

6-7 Life, lovely while it lasts, is soon over. Life as we know it, precious and beautiful, ends.
The body is put back in the same ground it came from. The spirit returns to God, who first breathed it.
8 It’s all smoke, nothing but smoke. The Quester says that everything’s smoke.

The Final Word
9-10 Besides being wise himself, the Quester also taught others knowledge. He weighed, examined, and arranged many proverbs. The Quester did his best to find the right words and write the plain truth. 11 The words of the wise prod us to live well.
They’re like nails hammered home, holding life together. They are given by God, the one Shepherd.

12-13 But regarding anything beyond this, dear friend, go easy. There’s no end to the publishing of books, and constant study wears you out so you’re no good for anything else. The last and final word is this: Fear God. Do What He Tells You.
14 And that’s it. Eventually God will bring everything that we do out into the open and judge it according to its hidden intent, whether it’s good or evil.
TRUST GOD AND DO GOOD
Psalm 37:3 (KJV)
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Psalm 37:3-4 (MSG)
3-4 Get insurance with God and do a good deed, settle down and stick to your last.
Keep company with God, get in on the best.
Psalm 37:3 (AMP)
3 Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord and do good;
Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.

ONLY WHAT YOU DO FOR CHRIST WILL LAST
1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye Stedfast, Unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (MSG)
58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.
Always Do HIS WILL not Thy Will
1 John 2:17 (KJV)
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:17 (MSG)
15-17 Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.
THOUGH YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATIONS- I HAVE OVERCOME IT
John 16:33 (KJV)
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33 (MSG)
31-33 Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”

Grace Nuggets:
• The Fight is To Abide
• The Enemy is to Get You STARVED for Something- Then SEND YOU THAT
• Many are the Afflictions of The Righteous...But God
• All Those that Abide in Him Conquers With Him

IF YOU OBEY---IT WILL BE Well
Jeremiah 7:23 (KJV)
23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

He Directs Your Paths
Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:6(AMP)
6 [a]In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

IF WE - LIVE WITH-- STICK WITH- DIE WITH
2 Timothy 2:11-13 (KJV)
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

When The Lord Comes Will He Find Faith
Luke 18:8(KJV)
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth

======THE WORD-======
Matthew 10:27(KJV)
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
