Oliva Serie V Lancero Aged 2+ Years Cigar Review

This 7x38 stick features a dark brown satin finished softly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and slight barynyard aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a sweet smooth cedar quickly followed by a big pepper zing through the long full finish. The first third opens the draw slightly while the body comes down to a medium. Notes shift to a slight sweetness and a zingy creamy cinnamon joined by the building pepper though a long dry finish. 1/2 way in at 35 minutes the 2nd third changes very little, still with perfect performance, just adding a subtle coffee on the draw. Ending at 1:10 the last third showed no further changes.
