Kim Potter / Daunte Wright Trial Day 2: Weepy "Girlfriend" & Crash Testimony

Depending on how you are tracking the days, it's either Day 7 or 2, but the trial of Kim Potter for the shooting death of Daunte Wright carried on today with monotonous testimony of Officer after Officer, professional after professional, establishing that the crash that happened after Wright fled the scene after being shot, was dangerous. Cool, could have happened whether or not he was shot, tased or merely got away. Great story.

But the notable testimony came for the very weepy, very distraught "girlfriend" of Wright, Alayna Albrecht-Payton, who admitted that the pair were smoking dope the morning of the incident and admitted to a multitude of other things as well.

All in all, pretty bad day, but Earl Gray is a machine.
