“Amazing Grace” in Barcelona Cathedral, 3736

Good morning, I’m still reporting on beautiful music.

A friend sent this to me yesterday. It is the Christian hymn, “Amazing Grace” one of the most recognizable songs in the English-speaking world, and one of the oldest committed to print.

However, this version is performed by a Spanish singer in the Catalan language, the language of the ancient Moors or Muslims.

On top of that, it is being sung in a brand new Catholic cathedral, the new Sagrada Familia Expiatory Church in Barcelona, Spain.

This Barcelona Cathedral has been under construction for almost 125 years. It may be the last great cathedral built by the Christian faith.

The cathedral is almost finished and this elaborate television production gives you brief peeks at the awe-inspiring interior.

The concert was held recently in memory of the victims of terrorism. The performance is punctuated by a fleet of bagpipers flown in from Ireland for this performance.

Although you won’t be able to understand a word of it, you will understand its relevance to kicking off the Christmas season, and you’ll be moved like I was when, after the bagpipes arrive, the singer blasts out the 3rd and final chorus.

Something uplifting and hopeful to put you in the spirit for this holiday season as the world begins to turn the corner on the plandemic.

I’m still reporting from the citadel of world freedom where things are beginning to return to normal as the evil one’s power begins its rapid decline and the minions of satan begin to take flight from the United States of America.

Good day.
