Place Ville Marie is a complex with commercial offices and wholesale stores; it was the most important business center in Montreal, opening on April 20, 1962. The TVM project is located at the heart of downtown on the site of the covered market built by the Grand Trunk Railways in 1901. It is one of the most important landmarks in Quebec and Canada for its architecture and history.

Located in the center of Montreal's commercial district, Place Ville Marie is an important part of the city's skyline. After 40 years, it was time to revitalize and enhance this important building to fit the needs of today's tenants and of course, future ones.

One of North America’s largest urban real estate development sites is stepping into the future with the Place Ville Marie Future Project. Place Ville Marie will undergo a dramatic redesign project. The project is carried out on two fronts: the indoor and outdoor public spaces and office spaces. The outdoor public spaces will be redesigned using terrace-like settings to unite disparate parts of the complex, while the office spaces are designed for adaptability to future needs.
