On this episode of Pilsners & Politics, Benji and Vinny sit down with Pam who is a New York educated, San Francisco, CA resident who grew up a full fledged Democrat. Pam is a licensed clinical social worker who became certified in the 90's and had been working in that capacity until 2016 when she acquired a rare medical condition. Then in 2020, Pam recalled the catalyst that is responsible for her being "red pilled," in conjunction with an array of other relevant issues.

So what was it that pushed Pam into a more conservative way or thinking; look no further than the George Floyd incident that polarized our country. Pam recalled this controversial case as the reason for her great awaking. She couldn't stand the fact that from the onset, this case was portrayed in the media as being race related with no evidence to support it, rather than just a tragic, heartbreaking incident. Pam touched further on how she was strongly encouraged and almost kind of bullied into being "woke" after her running group wanted everyone to put black squares up on their social media pages. At the time, Pam recalled doing some research on BLM, only to find out that on their website they actively advocate for things that are against her morals and values.

Pam went on to talk about how the tyrannical Covid-19 mandates and lockdowns by way of Governor Gavin Newsom have pushed her even further to the right. Pam gave some great insight as to what is going on in California regarding the mandates and lockdowns, which will shock absolutely no one.

As Benji and Vinny continued to peel back the layers about Pam's decision to leave the Democrat party, they were intrigued to hear that it was education that helped her see how truly disingenuous the party was. Pam's education and acquired knowledge into certain hot button topics allowed her to think freely and without media/propaganda influence.

Tune in and listen to Pam speak about her journey as a Democrat and how she became a reformed conservative, not only through education but through her life experience as a whole, both personal and professional.
