Olive Whistler

Adult birds are about 18–20 cm (7–8 in) long, and have total olive brown plumage with a striped white throat. To the unnoticed eye, they could be mistaken for a woman's golden whistle. The male has a dark gray head, pale gray chest and red rump. The female does not have a red tinge, and has a brown underside. The legs, beak and eyes of both sexes are brown-black. The melodious call has been likened to I'll wet you or you're fussy, and is perhaps the most musical of all whistles.
