How To Cook A Turkey - Oven Roasted Turkey - Easy Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe - The Hillbilly Kitchen
No-worry, stress-free, no-fail, very simple, easy way to cook the perfect turkey. Cooking a turkey is no harder than cooking a single chicken breast, it is just bigger and takes longer. Even a beginner can easily cook a perfect turkey.
When you put your turkey in the fridge to thaw, don't forget to put it in a pan or bowl to catch anything that drips out as the turkey thaws. Nobody wants to clean and sanitize the entire fridge on Thanksgiving morning or throw out everything the turkey dripped in.
Cooking times will vary depending on your oven and the size of you turkey. A very large (20 pounds+) turkey will take longer (up to 25 minutes+ per pound) and smaller (12 Pounds) turkey will cook faster (20 minutes+ per pound). If you have convection roast on your oven it will decrease the cooking time by at least 1/3. Make sure your turkey is done before you serve it.

Turkey
Honey
Lemon juice
Onion powder
Salt & pepper
How much of these spices you use on your turkey depends on the size of your turkey. Just don't go overboard with the spices and you should be okay.
