4 Why cats staring at you? Why cat stares at me all day and why cats stare at you sometimes? Educational video about cats and video about cats facts 4.

There is one more cat behavior which people kind of don't understand. It is when cats are watching us carefully and they can stare at us for a long time. Or cats just watch us do things, observe and plane stare at us like stalkers.
Essentially cats are stalking us sometimes. Cat watch their owners and some people and some people kind of will feel freakish about it although they shouldn't. You know i'm talking about housecats here. Obviously if you own a tiger or a lion and it is stalking you maybe it's not such a good idea to be around.

But I am talking about house cats now. It's important to understand that cat is watching us because it's one of the ways to show their interest in us. In in essence it's one of the cats staring at us or cats watching us or looking at us. It's one of the cat’s ways to show affection.

Naturally it shows that cat is affectionate toward you. You are that person and cat likes that person and that's why cat is all around that person.

Another reason could be is that cats expect or want something from that person. That could be food or could be play or could be something else. But it also has something to do with affection and with trust and understanding and maybe with love for that person - the owner usually.
Cats love their humans because they're humans. You know, humans rub cats, pet them, feed cats. Humans do things for cats, so cats understand it and the cats are appreciative of that as much as dogs.

Maybe cat is watching their human to see what other things cat can get from their human. Finally, in my personal opinion about our cats, when they look at their human by staring and follow human - it's essentially element of cat’s ownership as well.

You know cats watch their human because this is their human. This human represents resources like food, affection, home, taking care of the cat for a long time. So cat is watching their human because it's like you would watch, i don't know, something or somebody that continuously brings you benefit. It is like if you have a really good car and you don't want to get stolen. You put it in a garage and you take care of it. You wash it, you repair it.

Or, like if you have a some expensive furniture which you really like or you have work tools which you keep safe. That's kind of similar to that. Essentially, it comes down to what the needs and wants cat or our cats can get. Cats get love, affection, food, care, from us and they are watching us and staring at us with love and affection with all those loving cats eyes because they don't want to lose us.

Essentially, cats have to watch us to make sure that (my guess) other cats wouldn't come and wouldn't steal us from our cats. It is territorial and instinctive and ownership instinct which is ingrained in all smart beings capable of some critical thinking, including cats.
And I also think, believe it or not, that cats are also watching to make sure that something doesn't happen to us. It does happen sometimes when something happens to us you can see cats start to worry about us. Cats come to us, they start meowing like “what's going?” or “what happened?”.

So cats are kind of protecting us in a way. I've seen cats protecting people and children of their owners. So, I mean, we know those stories, right? So, and you also probably noticed that cats and dogs and actually other animals and cats included usually follow one person more than other people.

For whatever reason they consider the person at the head of the tribe or most important one, and you know they wouldn't let that person leave their eyesight. And this affection and love and taking care theory has been proven many times because cats were saving owners’ lives during medical conditions, emergencies like earthquakes. It happened so many times and we hear about dogs but cats did that too.
Although, cats a little bit different and do it in different way, but they did save their owners so cats staring and watching us at us usually it doesn't mean anything bad. As long as it's our cat all right if it's neighbor cat that maybe you know there is some other reason so don't worry about it.

It's a good thing it's slow and affection and taking care of us I'll see you in the next video and you have a nice day
