cats favorite places at home cats always select a favorite place at home any cat has it or several of them it could be a sofa could be a bed could be a chair could be a table could be a piece of furniture window or in the basement or under the bed and really they have several places depending on the occasion for example my cat and many other cats when they rest they usually rest on chair on sofa or on the bed or especially on their human bed where their human sleep because i mean they absolute cats absorb these uh habits okay humans sleep there probably place where you chill and sleep and relax if cats is very active especially in younger age they try to climb as high as possible so they jump on the furniture on top of furniture on the ceiling even on the chandelier if you have one so uh the younger the cat i mean i'm not talking about several weeks i'm talking about say one year old uh eight months one year one and a half years it may try to climb as high as possible and just sit there but the older the cat gets gets the less they're interested to climb that high they prefer more soft places like sofa like a chair like places like that when cat is feels threatened or anxious or fears something like we had fireworks outside and my cat would jump under my bed and stay there until you know 10 15 minutes after fireworks are over and if you have basement you may likely to find your head in your cat in the basement if it's threatened or it feels anxious or nervous about something so and because they like card boxes like boxes if you have couple of boxes you can buy some you know specially made for cats you often may find cat there because cat like those places like small close places where they feel safer you can put them in your house in your apartment or if you have a backyard or garden you can put there and you can sometimes you'll see your kite you can find your cat sitting there in the garden in that box so in that cat home and just watch watch your things and birth and nature from from there but the longer your cat lives with you the more likely your cat will find a favorite place where cat can observe you most of the time if you spent most of the time say working at your in your office you have home office most of the time you will see that cats chose a favorite spot somewhere in your home office so cat could be somewhere close around you you watch you observe you and just just be around you because in my previous videos i said cats do get attached to their humans and they like to keep your interaction with their humans with their own human owners and if you work on your desk all the time you may find your cat on the desk too right next to your computer because that's where that's favorite spot it's warm it's nice and a cat can see you and can control you from there and windows uh windows usually are one of the most favorite spots for cats because i said in previous one of previous videos cat can observe what's going on inside home and also can the same time can see what's going on and observers going on outside watch other people cars or maybe other animals raccoons rabbits whatever birds that are hanging out outside the window if you live in a hot climate you may find your cat you know spreading it somewhere there's lying around somewhere where there is a little bit of breeze at least if you live in a cold climate most likely you find your cat somewhere where it's warm or where it can just kind of get in the corner and warm itself maybe even close to you close to you know radiators or heater uh somewhere or maybe on the top of radiator that's where you usually find cat in the cold climate funny enough kitchen is not necessarily a favorite place for cat even if there is food there cats still do like to spend time where their humans spend time not where their food is located in fact in some nations there is a in some countries there is a custom where when people moving into new home or new place they let the cat go in first and when a cat lays down people put sofa or a bed because cats select best location for relaxing for chilling and so forth so this is another benefit of the cat cat knows why it's comfortable and knows place where it's good so use your cat for your advantage
