What makes an animal albino?

Albinism is the result of cells that can’t produce melanin, the pigment needed to color skin, scales, eyes and hair. This genetic condition gets passed to offspring when both parents carry the recessive gene. When albinism is present, the animal can appear white or pink.

Sea turtles also called as marine turtles, they are reptiles. They are listed as endangered animals under Endangered Species Act.[5] There are seven categories ( green sea turtle, loggerhead sea turtle, Kemp's Ridley sea turtle, Olive Ridley sea turtle, hawksbill sea turtle, flatback sea turtle, and leatherback sea turtle.[4] ) living In the whole world. Flatback turtles living in the waters of Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Other all six species live in Atlantic Ocean, near USA. Sea turtles cannot retract their head and Flippers into their shells for protection, unlike many other land turtles and tortoises.
Sea turtles are proving important and very special service to marine ecosystems. They help maintain the health of sea grass beds and coral reefs that benefit commercially valuable species such as shrimp, lobster, and tuna.
A sea turtle swim between lands and oceans thousands of miles. They return to same beach where they born to lay eggs. During this journey they exposed to both natural and human threats. Naturally their main predators are sharks and hawks.
But humans are a major threat to turtles. Turtle’s meat and eggs are very popular food in worldwide. Also turtles parts use to medical purposes. These all of activities are prohibited under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
Plastics and illegal fishing techniques and equipment’s are also treat for turtles. Every year we lost lot of turtles by entangle with fishing nets and hooks. Jellyfishes are the favorite food of turtles. In the ocean plastic bags looks like jellyfishes. Turtles eat plastic bags, but they think those are jellyfishes.
Normally Mother turtles come to lay eggs in the night time. They dig a big hole and lay eggs, then cover by sands and they go back. They never come back to see these eggs. After around 60 days babies coming out and they go back to the ocean. Normally 1000 of babies, only 1 turtles survive in the ocean. Because of baby sea turtles cannot dive, they always swimming on top of water. So birds can catch easily.

Hawksbill Turtle

Hawksbills are critically endangered animal species mainly found throughout the world's tropical oceans. Hawksbills grow up to 2 to 3 feet in shell length and can weigh between 100 and 150 pounds. Hawksbills mouth looks like bird, that’s the reason call as hawksbill. Green turtles could live at least 50 – 60 years.

Green Turtle

Leatherback turtles grow up to 1.8 to 2.2 meter in shell length and can weigh between 250 and 700 kilograms. Leatherback turtles could live at least 30 years. Leatherbacks are vulnerable turtle species. Their shell is not like other species, it’s not showing, it’s covered by leathery layer.

Flatback Turtle

Flatback turtles are very rare also known as Australian FlatBack turtles, living in the waters of Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Flatback turtles grow up to 31 – 37 inches in shell length and can weigh around 220 pounds. Flatback turtles could live at least 80 years.
