In this steelhead fishing video we are river fishing for steelhead with beads in Northern Michigan. Michigan steelhead chrome fishing is a treat and this time we went in style and fished with Joe of West Michigan Guide Service. When it comes to steelhead fishing Joe likes to float fish with beads. We were using Slay n steel beads and Nova Chrome baitcaster rods. Bead Fishing For Fall Steelhead is fun and productive as long as you can get the hookset and land the fish lol. Float fishing with slay n steel beads seems to be a staple option for many of my Michigan steelhead fishing buddies including most of the guides I have been out with. When It comes to steelhead fishing Michigan rivers there are so many options for lures and baits but besides the fly fisherman most guys I know prefer bead fishing for steelhead. Steelhead beads are cheap and mess free compared to chome fishing with spawn bags or skeins or pulling plugs and tossing spinners and when it comes to picking out the best steelhead rigs for river fishing, float fishing for steelhead with beads and a baitcaster from a boat is efficient and effective.

Here at Real Michigan Anglers we are all about Michigan fishing and most will agree chrome steelhead fishing is the pinnacle of fishing in Michigan. steelhead fishing Michigan is a treat and this was our first attempt at chrome fishing for Fall steelhead in 2021. this was a great start to steelhead fishing Michigan 2021 for sure. Other than a few attempts for early skamania we haven't had a chance to go river fishing for steelhead yet this year but I will be river fishing for steelhead at least once a week for the rest of 2021 into the 2022 spring steelhead fishing season but for now its time to keep on bead fishing for fall steelhead and keep on river fishing for steelhead until late spring. Also Im gonna go target some big pike soon but thats just for the sake of variety and because I also love pike fishing but not as much as chrome fishing.

I am new to Michigan steelhead fishing and have only begun steelhead fishing Michigan or anywhere for a few years but Michigan steelhead have sucked me in and after a few years with little to no success fishing for steelhead I am beginning to get the hang of float fishing, centerpin fishing bait choices and seasonality of the steelhead run. Now I just need to up my landing ratio...
