White Glove Models Donation Build for Yreka City Fire Department and Museum
My name is Kalan Sandberg and I am a Volunteer Firefighter with the City of Yreka in Northern California.

I also am a YouTube Content Creator and Scale Model Builder. I build all sorts of models from small scale plastic kits to large scale die-cast metal and wooden builds.

The opportunity to build a remarkable Die-Cast 1:24 scale replica model of the FDNY Ladder 9, a 75' Aerialscope Fire Truck, based alongside Company 33, at 42 Great Jones Street in Manhattan, came along and I am pleased to have the opportunity to build this remarkable model.

I have decided to donate the project to the Yreka City Fire Department Museum, and would love the support from the community, near and far.

All proceeds from the Fundraiser will go directly into the model build of the Fire Truck and all additional proceeds will be donated directly to the Yreka City Fire Department on the day it is presented to the Department. There will be a livestream of the event when it happens.

This is a Museum Quality Model Build and once completed it will be a One of Kind Scale Model of this magnificent Ladder Truck. I intend to "Upgrade and Modify" many of the features of this already wonderful model to make it unique and interactive for the kids when they come by to visit the Yreka Fire Museum.

The model will have working lights and sound, incredibly detailed interior and exterior, with detailed storage compartments. I am currently working on trying to get the boom ladder to a fully functional state, including water spraying out the nozzle at the top.
It will come complete with a Fire House Diorama and more.

This build will be an ongoing project that will take up to 2 years to complete. I will be premiering the build on my YouTube Channel
White Glove Models

With your help and support, I could potentially have the build completed sooner with a timeline around January 2023 in which it will be presented to the Yreka City Fire Department at our annual benefit.

The FDNY Foundation at https://www.fdnyfoundation.org/mission/ receives a donation for each one of these kits built as well, and I encourage you to visit their website and support them as well.

If you would like to mail a Donation directly to the Yreka City Fire Department, you can do so at:

Be sure to note that your Donation is for the City of Yreka Fire Department.
If you would like to leave a note that you heard about the FDNY Model Build and how you heard about it, that would be appreciated.
