If placing directly in the soil of a potted plant or garden, use the included tool to loosen the soil and place trap into the soil. To catch flying and climbing insects the traps can also be hung from stems or branches using the included wire hanging hooks. Simply insert one end of the wire into the precut hole at the top of the trap and bend the wire to secure the trap. Next find an appropriate place to hang the trap on your plant and bend the opposite end of the wire to shape the hook to fit around the stem or branch.
