5. Thanks Nature Cafe
This unique cafe located in the Hongdae region of Seoul combines coffee and sheep! The 2 resident sheep of the cafe are Lulu and Lala. They just hang out while you enjoy your food and drink. Thanks Nature Cafe primarily serves coffee, fruit and waffles and has been built out with a very naturesque theme. The greenery and polished wood surfaces blend well with the sheep pen. The sheep have an area to roam around, food and water station and a little house for sleeping. Patrons of the cafe can go into the sheep’s area to pet them at their leisure.

4. Hello Kitty Cafe
The Hello Kitty Cafe in Seoul recently moved to this new location in 2015. Everything is Hello Kitty from the chairs to the shingles on the roof. The first floor has the cafe and gift shop as well as multiple photo zones. Customers tend migrate from room to room snapping photos along the way. There is a faux fireplace on the first floor and a hello kitty bedroom upstairs. If you don’t like the color pink, you might want to stay away from this place.

3. HoHo Myoll Cafe
This down to earth cafe screams vintage. HoHo Myoll cafe is full of knick knacks from the past, vintage objects, seating, magazines, toys, lights, furniture and well everything. At the center of the cafe is an old volkswagen van which is where orders are placed. The barista will whip up a fancy, delicious coffee you’re looking for. This place become especially interesting at night as all the vintage lights are turned on. If vintage isn’t your thing maybe this place isn’t for you but everyone else, this place is highly interesting and worth the visit.

2. Blind Alley Cafe
This one of a kind cafe in Seoul Korea has racoons that roam around the place. There is a black racoon and a white one believe it or not. They are very friendly and have actually been trained to do 1 trick which is to shake a paw. Now you'll need to know the korean phrase to instruct them to do so though. Of course no trick doesn’t come without giving them a treat or no more tricks will be had. The cafe serves espresso, tea other beverages, smoothies and some food. The cafe is separated into 2 sections divided with a glass door. The first section with has the counter to order food with some seating as well. The 2nd section is where both raccoons hang out. Once you step foot in there you’ll realize why they have their own space. They are both very hands on essentially begging for food, using their cuteness as payment. Maybe not the best place to study but but this place is a must see in Seoul.

1. Ddo-Ong Cafe
The Ddo-Ong or poop cafe, as it’s known has become famous for it’s unusual presentation of food and drink in their establishment. Upon request hot drinks can be served in a toilet shaped mug otherwise it’ll come out in a normal mug with poop decoration. Now while at most coffee shops, the latte art is in the shape of a heart or flowers or swirls but at Ddo-Ong cafe artisans will create a nice steamer out of foam right on top of your coffee. If this wasn’t enough to gross you out then try ordering some food in a miniature toilet bowl. A creamy noodle soup, spaghetti and tomato sauce, how about some meat in a nice brown sauce. Are you getting hungry? Throughout the cafe you’ll notice other toilet themed decorations like squat toilets and stuffed coilers to make you feel at home.
