***With Martha not being a driver, it's hard to do a tribute scheme like I did with Delma Cowart, so I attempted to honor her via a Dale Sr. car, since she was the mother of The Intimidator.

Some very sad news broke this morning that Martha Earnhardt, matriarch of the famous Earnhardt family, passed away at the age of 91. Her passing comes just two weeks after the passing of her youngest son Danny, and is the third NASCAR-related death this week, after reporter Steve Richards of PRN and Bob Keselowski, father of Brad and Brian. Martha was preceeded in death by her parents, Husband Ralph Lee Earnhardt, sons Ralph Dale Earnhardt Sr., Randy Earnhardt and Danny Earnhardt Sr. She is survived by her two daughters, several grandchildren including Kerry, Dale Jr., Kelley, Taylor and Danny Jr., several great grandchildren, including Jeffrey and Bobby Dale, Isla and Nicole, and Karsyn and great-great grandchildren as well.

Martha was a figure in NASCAR for over 60 years, and will always be remembered as the mother a legend.
