Housing Bubble 2.0 - I-Buying is I-Dying - Tampa Area Home Sold as First NFT in the US

I-Buyers purchased approximately 70k homes in 2021. That is a pretty significant number. Only time will tell whether the I-Buying market will ever achieve profitability. It seems that more and more I-Buyers and tech based Real Estate companies are having difficulty earning profit instead of taking losses. It is uncertain if they can remain operational as the years go on due to a number of issues, mainly the deceleration of Home Price Appreciation and the reduction in Home Purchase sentiment. It will be a tough year for this segment. We also witnessed the first Home in the US that was sold as a Non-fungible Token (NFT) here in Tampa, FL. The future of Real Estate will be its convergence with technology such as Blockchain, Crypto & NFTs. This is the start of an exciting time in both the Crypto and Real Estate markets.
