Watch and listen as I run through the easy mic position with the Neumann TLM 103 and AKG C480B. Learn how to avoid "cloudy" areas that introduce mud, create a lead vocal "pocket" using panning, and how to effectively "EQ" with mic placement in order to avoid later EQing.
Because if you over EQ you will introduce your own phasing issues, so it is best to experiment with your Mic placement while recording your guitar parts in the song.
