We just did these two amazing dives today with our futur instructor Richard.
The whole trip was very well organized, no waiting, everything went as planned, the whole crew were fun and relaxed.
For us beginners, we were a big advantage: we were a group of two divers. It's silly, but we felt more secure, as the instructor only has two people to watch.
Richard was the best, patient, encouraging and joking all the time.
We liked him ever since we walked into the shop - professional diver with over 1000 dives, clearly enthusiastic about his job, not enticing us with all of that “come see turtles, we'll see sharks” as they have done it elsewhere.
He kept her real, knowing her sights but with all the unpredictability of nature. He also gave us a tip for an amazing local Thai restaurant.
🙂 While diving he was a good teacher, practicing all basic diving techniques with us, answering our beginner questions and showing us lots of fish, eels, corals and turtles that he found for us - and we were thrilled enough 🙂 if we had time to do our driving here, I would highly recommend this place and Richard too.
