A New Study From The National Academy Of Sciences Looked At The Impact Of Exposure To Leaded Gasoline In The Early Childhood Development Of Americans Between 1940 And 2015. From The AP: Scientists from Florida State University and Duke University found that 90% of children born in the U.S. between 1950 and 1981 had blood-lead levels higher than the CDC threshold. And the researchers found significant impact on cognitive development: on average, early childhood exposure to lead resulted in a 2.6-point drop in IQ.

Sam Seder: Long-time listeners of this program will know that I mean actually there's two sort of like of my bailly wicks today. the postal reform act reverses the 2006 I can't remember what the name of the act was, moved primarily by republicans although everyone was on board to more or less to some extent a bill in 2006 a law, that forced the postal service to fund its health care for retirees 75 years out so in other words, it had to fund health care for people who will work at the post office who are not even born yet. There is no government agency no private business no NGO there is no entity in the world, that has that type of requirement it caused the postal service to be in the red I guess is what they call it, right? When you don't have uh when you're running a deficit for years billions of dollars that have been fixed, and my understanding is and the people are looking at that the postal banking is protected within that act...
