My 84 Year Old Mother Fulfills Her Dream of Visiting Key West Florida in this video. 20 plus years ago my late father and mother took off on the Key West Express for a day trip to the Conch Republic. The boat experienced engine trouble and had to turn around. One thing led to another and they never ended going to Key West. My father has since passed but my Mom never lost her dream of going to Key West. With her 84th birthday just a couple of weeks away Judy and I took a 3 day weekend and booked passage on the Key West Express and took my mom for a whirlwind day trip and tour of Key West, Duvall St., and even drank her very first shot at the Smallest Bar.
