Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead six days before the Passover and came to Jerusalem the next day which would be five days before the Passover.
The true Passover according the ancient Hebrew solar calendar falls on April third this year. Five days before April third is March 30th. The “prince of this world” will be cast out on this day which is five days before the Passover. The exact year of this major event is not known but Jesus himself has told us the season. Could it be this year? Nobody knows
It should be obvious the prince of this world was not cast out on the day Jesus gave this prophesy but this prophesy was for the future and even the end times.

John 12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
John 12: 12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
