Four social media stars spent five days living in an AIRPORT - after one of their followers dared them to take on the challenge.

Daredevil group 4funguys_ started taking requests from followers in August 2020 and have since blown up on Tik Tok - reaching over 2 million followers.

They were recently asked to see how long they could last living in an airport - and the video has now gone viral.

Sean Cregier, 21, Jonny Curren, 18, Jared Fuller, 20 and Sam Curren, 25, picked Portland International Airport in which to complete their stay - setting a target of five days.

They spent the first night sleeping out in the open as their presence wasn't drawing any suspicion, but as the challenge went on they decided to make it harder for themselves.

The pranksters dressed up in bright coloured clothing to stand out from the crowd, and spent the day walking around the airport trying to keep themselves busy.

Portland International Airport is classed by some as America's most luxurious airport so the group had a cinema, sensory room and spa service to enjoy during their stay.

On the fourth day, things got intense when security started to notice them more and more, and the jokers were forced to split up and sleep separately for the final day.

Jonny hid in plain site, Jared hid between some wheelchairs whist Sean spent eight hours hiding in one of the bathrooms.

After meeting up for the final night, the group left the airport on January 29, 2022 - having completed their five day challenge.

The boys, from Simi Valley, California are childhood friends and now earn a living completing dares from followers on a daily basis.

They have taken on hundreds of dares since launching their platform nearly two years ago including, paintballing in their underwear and swimming with sharks.

The first dare they completed was skydiving in speedos - a challenge which circulated widely on social media.

Jonny, the youngest of the foursome, said: "It kind of started out as a joke during Covid when we were just trying to keep ourselves entertained.

"But turns out it was a good time to start posting on social media because kids were on their phones way more than usual.

"We started getting more and more traction on Tik Tok and the dares were flooding in.

"Now we have over 40 million likes and two million followers and do this full time - it's the best job in the world."

Fellow daredevil Jared added: "When we got the airport dare it really stood out to us and we knew straight away we wanted to do it.

"It was easiest to blend in in the day as there were people to hide behind, but its not the biggest airport and at night it was empty.

"The toughest part was definitely the sleeping arrangements as there was no where comfortable to settle down and we had to keep moving.

"The boredom was hard too and the last few days felt like they dragged on forever.

"We ate at all the food places but it got riskier every day, and someone recognised us whilst we were eating on the third day.

"We told them our flight got delayed and they left us alone, but later security were looking for us in the sensory room after we spent to long in there.

"Thankfully we'd moved just before they arrived or we would have been caught for sure!"
