They cut a commercial lot with retaining ponds and steep banks. We normally hand trim all but 2 of the slopes as we are afraid of putting our mower in the pond. We made the Cub Cadet guys promise not to be mad if we sunk this mammoth Cub Cadet Pro Z 972 in the pond! We’ll let you judge for yourself how it holds the hills. VLOG 491💖💲 ✌ Old Man makes a declaration. He said it and he isn’t taking it back. Payton, our mow crew Crew Chief, shows us his goats and takes us out with the mow crew. JT and Lex stop by to treat some bagworms. Every one of the 8 trees on this property has bagworms. If left untreated these would have killed the trees within a year or two. One treatment and the tree killing pests were deader than dead. That’s pretty final. Our spray comes with a seasonal gaurentee. If these bag-worms return, we’ll treat again for free! Old man calls it like he sees it. Some family is not worth having. We just got rid of the last of the low lifes. They chose a path we decided not to follow them on. JT and Lex go to Arkansas to meet up with Robert Musi of Musi Mowing and More Inc. There the buy a tree-sprayer that is capable of reaching the tops of our tall trees. We have an historic bag-worm problem here in Oklahoma this year. Conditions have been perfect for them to multiply. Just about every tree and bush we see has bag-worms. It’s terrible for trees….but amazing for profits! They also buy a Stihl BR 800 backpack blower and two FS 91Rs. VLOG 485💖💲 ✌ We used straight gas in a mix-fuel Echo trimmer. It blew up. The trimmer is only good for parts. Can she be rebuilt? Mistakes happen….but there is no excuse for this one. It’s the first thing we educate our new workers on. Small gas can = mix. Big gas can – 100% mower gas. We did this beautiful mulch job as well. We only had to lay the mulch. They finally figured it out, Walter and JT. JT and Lex gets some bushes trimmed up with the HS-56 and the battery powered HAS 56 hedge trimmers while Payton mows and Walter and John trim and edge. KH sings her weird Happy Birthday song that she’s been singing to our two kids since they were tiny. No wonder they turned out so weird! Our Stihl FS-91 broke down bad. VLOG 476 💖💲 ✌ We bought a new Toro tiller. We show you us breaking in this machine as we prepare for a large (to us) mulch and rock install. This tiller is awesome. It saved us hours of manual labor. We’ll be using the Toro tiller a lot in the future! We completely remove the last mulch job at this clients house. It was done incorrectly with an ineffective barrier. We’re taking it all out. Grass, old mulch and rotten barrier and netting. A complete re-do from the bare earth up. We’ll also be using a quality barrier with pre-emergence.
