Thanks to IG: cookingwithkarimi for collaborating in this video. He is a great patient and a great inspiration in the cooking world! We used a separator to open up the contact as the inter-proximal space was lost over years of restorations. This is a simple tip I learned in residency - we used a temporary crown to increase the space over a few weeks. It worked actually quite well. We replaced this restoration b/c the gingival contour was poor (you could see the imprint of the wedge in the restoration) and it shredded floss. I thought it would be a great idea to burnish this matrix just to “make sure” it was adapted to the canine. Well, that made it too tight and I couldn’t floss the contact. 🤦🏻‍♂️
