I'm really tired of unfinished video games that launch in a constant need of repair. I want to be able to buy a game and know what I'm getting and be able to enjoy that same experience later on. So many games launch now with incomplete content, very glitched and buggy gameplay and a lack of cohesive vision on what they want to be, only to discover their identity later. There's a very odd idea in gaming that somehow being new or graphically impressive makes a game good, while older games are somehow bad or relics of the past. I have never understood where this idea came from or how so many people can cling onto it. Some of my favorite games, like Final Fantasy 7, Fallout New Vegas, Dark Souls, Jak and Daxter, Bloodborne, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts and more all have one thing in common - they're not new. Fallout New Vegas is my favorite video game of all time. I also truly believe this is the best Fallout game, at least in terms of writing. The epic battle between the NCR (New California Republic) and Caesar's legion over Hoover Dam has stuck with me for years. The game also has one of my favorite gaming characters of all time - Joshua Graham from the Honest Hearts DLC. With great Fallout companions like Rose of Sharon Cassidy and Boone, the Courier's journey across the Mojave Wasteland was always really powerful and interesting and Obsidian Entertainment did a fantastic job with that game. Now that Microsoft has acquired both Bethesda and Obsidian, it's very possible for a Fallout New Vegas 2 to finally be created. Jeff Grubb from Giantbomb has revealed some new information that Microsoft may be in early talks with Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda to create a Fallout New Vegas Sequel. Assassin's Creed 1 has been out since 2007. Surprisingly, the game holds up very well and looks good, especially on Xbox One X. The game has been enhanced on Xbox One X (looks even better on PC) and I'm surprised at how much effort has gone into maintaining this game. The game has multiple layers of story, involving the key protagonists Altair and Desmond Miles and how each tangles with their era of the Templar society. While this isn't my favorite in the series, there's a lot here to appreciate, and I'm really glad you all suggested I play this game again! I've been staying silent on this for a long time out of a misplaced fear at the reaction to it, both from just everyday people on this site all the way to Warner Bros and other companies. There is such a ridiculous abuse of the copyright system on this platform, even now, by certain companies. There is also just a general sense of apathy from a lot of people on this, and any problems with this and other sites, because people assume that those who work on these platforms "chose this" so they shouldn't be able to complain about it.
