Call Of Duty is a franchise that just keeps on releasing games, for better or worse. Today, Nate and I wanted to take a look back at the history of the Call of Duty franchise at their takes on the infamous video game trope of survival modes. Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves' The Batman movie is coming soon. With any popular thing, there will be some very unpopular takes and opinions. Most of the internet seems very excited to see the Robert Pattinson Batman movie. With Zoë Kravitz Catwoman and Battinson taking center stage, some have begun to ask, is The Batman movie too long? Is 3 hours going to make this a bad movie? There have now been a handful of Watch Dogs games but I've never really had much of an interest in them before now. I was always told that the first Watch Dogs game was bad and that Aiden Pearce was just a bad character. Now that I'm a little older, I decided to take a change on this game and try it out, especially with the news that they added Aiden Pearce to Watch Dogs Legion and also put an Assassin's Brotherhood character (Darcy) from Assassin's Creed in Watch Dogs Legion. I played Watch Dogs on Xbox Series X with FPS boost enabled and the game ran fantastically. Well today I've been forced to review the new Barbie 2022 Extra Car. It's a thing that exists for dolls that I reviewed, what more could you want. DCEU's Batgirl is a big subject of debate this week. Batgirl's suit was finally revealed to the public and some people really didn't like it. To be fair, other people loved the suit and were really excited about it. We recently talked about Batgirl director Adil El Arbi and his sentiments on the criticism. Since then, he decided to do something really cool that I respect a lot. The world needs more people with humility who are willing to accept when they are wrong or when they did something they weren't proud of. It also needs more people who are willing to be on the receiving end of their own jokes. I know some people will see his statement as backtracking and others will see my video the same way, but I've chosen to take this at face value and believe that it was just an ill-timed joke that was taken completely the wrong way. Video game journalism is a term that many would consider relatively harmless, but that isn't always the case. Games journalism is often just puff pieces or a broader way for fans of games to interact with said games. From the old games journalist magazines that covered hidden story elements and secrets to the modern political takes about how playing Call of Duty is a gateway to the Alt Right, there are many different types of games journalism and even different types of people who engage in its creation. The last decade as seen a push towards video game journalism becoming political and focusing on anything other than the games they are supposed to be talking about. Many of these "journalists" aren't true journalists at all. They write every piece as an opinion, ignoring any objective facts to reach the story that the "journalist" wants to tell, instead of informing the gaming communities on what they care about. As views have gone down, these outlets have gravitated towards more outrageous titles and concepts to drive outrage clicks and angry engagement. Batgirl's DCEU costume has been revealed. Leslie Grace will be donning a suit similar to the Batgirl of Burnside suit from the comics and I honestly think it looks fine. I'm not particularly impressed by the costume, as it looks very CW-ish to me, but it's certainly not a bad look. Supergirl's costume on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired. Sasha Calle is a talented actor, but I'm unsure why the suit seems to have been designed with so much bulk. It's very unflattering. While we are just talking about the costumes here, and I still am very interested in what they are doing with the DCEU or Worlds of DC movies, I'm a bit disappointed that it seems like they've gone out of their way to avoid any sort of feminine traits of any kind with these characters, when their feminine traits are one of the things that make the characters stand out and be even more interesting. Again, I still want the DCEU to be great. I have high hopes for the return of the Michael Keaton Batman and I'm even willing to give these movies, HBO Max shows and more a shot. I want them to be great. I just wish the costume design had gone a little differently here. Today I wanted to take a look at a bunch of video games that I definitely do not think are bad but just aren't for me. Nate and I are taking a look at the top 5 most popular games we really don't like or enjoy that much. Obviously, every game will have its detractors or people who just aren't a fan of it. I've noticed a common trend online in the last couple of years. It seems like there is a select group of people who think it's somehow interesting or intellectual to hate everything and talk down to those who are enjoying things. Valid criticisms are one thing, but it really does seem to be a case of some people not being able to tolerate what others enjoy, or not being able to enjoy most things.
