As well as a trailer for the upcoming season of Doctor Who, we also got the episode titles and who has written and directed each episode. Ncuti Gatwa seems to have a variety of stories for his first season, some of which appear to be very silly and goofy and others which come across as being darker in tone and tackling more serious subject matters. "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" worries me about what they will do with Millie Gibson's character. A demo has been available for some time now and the reactions from gamers have been exceedingly positive, with many saying that they love the gameplay and the functionality, but also the design of the protagonist, Eve. Disney Lucasfilm has reported that the recent trailer for the upcoming Star Wars show The Acolyte broke records and it for sure did but one of the records it broke is not being reported on by the mainstream. The Acolyte trailer was viewed more times in the first 24 hours of its release compared to the trailers for the other Disney Plus Star Wars shows such as The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka etc. However, the trailer has also been destroyed by the fans and has received 3 times more dislikes than likes. The fans have spoken and they do not like what they see. To be honest, the trailer is not the worst thing they have ever created, but I think that the cast and crew talking about identity politics and pushing their woke agenda has caused the audience to just give up on this show before it has even begun. The trailer also doesn't do a good job of presenting this show with many original characters to the audience so there is nothing for them to wait for with anticipation until the series arrives. It was only a week ago that we delved into the first official trailer for the upcoming season of Doctor Who and we already have another. This one doubled down on a lot of things that I hated in the first one, such as the references to Bridgerton and the cringe line from Ncuti Gatwa “Give me the loving!” but then there were some moments which did impress me, such as Ncuti’s line about shattering the battlefield into dust; I could see him projecting intimidation and anger towards the screen and props to him for that. Unfortunately, his doctor has been denied the opportunity of having a signature outfit as the one he seems to be wearing in all the promotional photos should be his iconic costume but it appears he will wear a different ensemble of clothes in each story, including yet another introduced in this trailer. Many fans have theorised that Jonathan Groff’s character could be Captain Jack Harkness and that the Flux has a role to play this season. There was a shot in the most recent Doctor Who trailer which showed us an abandoned TARDIS surrounded by broken plants and flowers and up until this point, I had not thought much about it. Still, an article theorises that this is the Fourteenth Doctor's (David Tennant) TARDIS that is dying for some reason, perhaps 14 is also coming to the end of his life. This would match up with something that Russell T Davies said during one of the audio commentaries; RTD said that there would be an episode this season that confirms that Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor is in fact travelling in the original TARDIS that we have been with for 60 odd years. Seeing 14's TARDIS wither away could be how the show links back to what the Showrunner said. Disney and the BBC have put out the first official trailer for Doctor Who season 1. Yes, they are restarting the show back at season 1 to keep in line with this new international continuity that they have been promoting. What can I say? The visuals are really good but that was to be expected as the budget has seen a gigantic increase. However, what is shown is utter cringe trash. Ncuti Gatwa does not feel like the Doctor in any way; he doesn't showcase any power or authority in either his voice or his actions. If you compare how he says his lines to how the likes of David Tennant, Matt Smith, or even Peter Capaldi said theirs, he is an absolute joke. Millie Gibson's character, Ruby Sunday, is still the most intriguing aspect of this upcoming era but even she had some awful dialogue in this trailer. I wouldn't get your hopes up. If things weren't bad enough for Doctor Who, the current Showrunner, Russell T Davies, and former Showrunner, Steven Moffat, have commented on the decision to release 2 episodes as part of the premiere. They haven't explicitly spoken about the show being moved to a midnight release on BBC iPlayer for UK viewers whilst those in the US can watch it at an acceptable time in the evening even though the British public pays for this woke garbage through the TV license. As you would expect, they didn't have many nice things to say to the audience. In fact, their comments came across as them mocking us for simply pushing back against this change to the schedule which puts viewers in the UK at a disadvantage seen as Doctor Who has always been a family show so the kids won't be able to watch the various episodes as an event like they have been able to do for plenty of years. Instead, they will now be required to stay up late at night which I don't think many parents will permit or they can watch it later on Saturday via the streaming service or by viewing the primetime BBC One broadcast. Rumours of David Tennant's return to Doctor Who are already circulating the internet but are they true? I am not sure what to think because I feel having the 14th Doctor return in the upcoming season would take the spotlight off of Ncuti Gatwa and it will most likely be the case that these are just rumours but RTD does historically have an issue with letting go of Tennant's Doctor that was reinforced in the 60th-anniversary specials. Quite recently, we got a clip titled "Leela vs the Time War" as part of The Collection Season 15 extended trailer. In this short segment, we saw the return of Louise Jameson's Leela as she was nearly destroyed by the Daleks during the Time War but was ultimately saved by the Fourth Doctor, played by the Legend, Tom Baker. This has caused many to question if Russell T Davies' theory that the bi-generation twist we got in The Giggle, the third special as part of the Doctor Who 60th-anniversary specials, affected all previous Doctors in the timeline is now established canon. I predict that as we go further into Ncuti Gatwa's era, we will get some more information regarding this because many who oppose this change will say that RTD only said it in passing and it hasn't affected the whole history of the show as he claims but little things like this and the Tales of the TARDIS spinoff seem to add credibility to his words. We are currently living in an era that is very politically driven and the entire entertainment industry especially has fallen victim to this. Nerdrotic, who is a very influential content creator, has been very vocal about how woke identity politics is taking over the entire entertainment industry but more specifically Doctor Who and how it has destroyed this franchise.
