Extended Wing Suit

Reloadable Aluminium-Air Fuel Cell

Spot Electro-Plating 3D Printing
3D printing with metals using Spot Electro-Plating (SEP). Technology combines fdm and resin 3d printing technologies to electroplate copper and zinc in sulphate water electrolyte bath using a graphite spot electro-plating rod electrode. Generates oxygen and sulfuric acid at the print head electrode, as well as the electro-plated metal. any other suitable similar electro-plating bath chemistry can be used. Assumes electro-plating field is strongest between the graphite electrode rod and the closest spot on the 3d metal print object, constructed layer by layer going up vertically in the electrolyte bath. Spot electro-plating can be also achieved using wire electro-plating of copper/zinc or any other directly electro-plateable metal like silver, in a separate plating electrolyte. Electrolyte can also be applied locally like cnc tool head coolant. for additional accuracy, with a extra vacuum scoop to recover the electrolyte.

Solar Collector Roof

High Temperature Solar Hot Air Blimp
Normal black LDPE plastic can only handle 100C hot air temperature, while graphite black coated aluminium foil balloon can withstand up to 600C hot air. Ambient air density is approximately 1.2g/L, 100C hot air density is 0.95g/L and 600C hot air density is 0.4g/L, while helium density is approximately 0.2g/L. Other metal foil materials can withstand even higher air temperatures, including copper and steel foil and carbon fiber cloth balloons. 20x10x10m rectangular cube balloon has 2000kg of lift using helium, and 400kg of lift using 100C hot air and surface area of 10x10m x10 = 1000m^2, with weight of 50g/m^2 giving total balloon fabric weight of 50kg. Black surface captures solar heat during the day requiring minimal stove burner heat for flight.
Zinc-Acid Battery
Zinc-air rechargeable battery cell 1.1-1.9V using ZnSO4 water electrolyte with steel sheet and carbon fiber electrodes and glass fiber separator. Battery case is HDPE plastic for high sulfuric acid and structural resistance. Single layer current capacity is approximately 100-1000mA, while 48 double sided layers give approximately 10-100A max current, leading to approximately 10-100W max power. Stacking more layers results in increased total current and power. Energy density specific energy Wh/kg depends on the weight on the steel sheet electrodes, and other battery construction materials, but is expected to be at maximum approximately 400Wh/kg. Works similarly to a lead-acid battery.

Finger Fuel Cell
Plastic cylinder with reloadable metal pipe electrode, separator, carbon felt and graphite rod core, metal pipe touches the bottom metal plate and graphite rod is the top contact, with some carbon felt to let the fuel cell exchange air, and add the electrolyte. Designed to be used upright but can be possibly used in any orientation, because electrolyte liquid does not escape from the separator and carbon felt, but is infused in the salt bridge. Majority of the fuel cell weight is the metal pipe, from 80% up, other materials are plastic and carbon felt/graphite, which are many times lighter than the metal in same volume, especially iron. Specific energy rating is 80-95% close to the metal energy density, from 1.3kWh/kg of zinc to 9.0kWh/kg of silicon. Fast swap of the metal-pipe electrode after full consumption, swap out the powder dust metal oxide and insert a new metal pipe, such as zinc, iron, tin, aluminium, magnesium, silicon pipe, even copper metal electrode provides some electricity in pure ethanol-koh electrolyte, aluminium is not compatible with aluminium metal electrode in water-koh electrolyte for hydrogen evolution. Ethanol/water-KOH electrolyte is recommended, as NaOH in water will not etch metal oxides enough, also sulfates like magnesium sulfate, iron sulfate or zinc sulfate in water are possible electrolytes. In ethanol-KOH/NaOH electrolyte mixes, potassium/sodium ethoxide in solution will enhance etching-removal of the metal oxides from the electrodes, also providing low temperature compatibility-operation of the aqueous/ethanol fuel cells.
