The problem with that is our human condition is very corruptible and when it goes downhill, it goes down fast and hard. Bring us out of the fog of deceit that has blanketed our nations. Open our eyes and awaken us to You, Jesus! 🙏 We have as Isaiah 50:10-11 says… we kindle our own fire and we walked by the light of a man made fire and now we lay down in torment. Exactly as we were warned that apart from God, we are not good. We were created to need God. So, we do confess our faults, thinking we know best, pride. Walking in our own strength, self-righteousness. Making our own way as we went along, tossing out what was right and embracing the easy, broad path of sin. We were deceived, You, Lord God are what is good for us. 🙏 We have been self-centered people, looking out for our own interests, pushing our opinions like they were truth and creating an atmosphere for deception to rule us. We, we are a mess, a big human mess, so we turn from the inside-out to our God, we acknowledge our sin, we confess, we ask to be restored in relationship with God. As you can see in this video, it is definitely stormy and windy and it is hard to hold on to anything, so that is why we need to be anchored to a strong foundation in times such as these. Hope is that way, it is slippery in times such as these where the storm is upon our culture. What are you hoping in? Many times we use the word hope, so what does that word mean to us? Hope to me is something on my heart that I want to see happen, it usually is tied to God’s heart’s desires, but sometimes it is just about me, what I want. Hope… is it tied to expectations that we have? Once someone shared with my some really good wisdom about expectations. Because of the human nature, our expectations can get dashed and we can be hurt or disillusioned, or very disappointed. The wisdom about expectations is to flip them to hope by giving them a strong foundation that doesn’t need a human being to carry them out. What I mean by that is we should put our expectations in the hands of Jesus and this is when they become hope. Also, this makes the object of our hope not a imperfect human being, but a perfect God. This world is so crazy right now in that real cra-cra way where nothing is really secure or stable. So what is the foundation that is strong for our hope? It is Jesus! There is no stronger foundation than Jesus as we put our hope in Jesus, and the wind is whipping up and chaos is in our culture, we know that our hope is in a safe place, we know God can do anything and we know that what we hope in, He is already working on to fulfill that hope in the most perfect timing ever. God finishes well, so putting our hope in Him is a great choice. Truly it does help you to hope BIG. I always hope Big because the foundation of my hope is Jesus Christ and there is no stronger foundation. Jesus is the object of my hope and I find myself not being disappointed or my hopes dashed, but I find myself believing, trusting and waiting on God with an active faith. When my hope is in Jesus, I am more stable in my emotions, I have more joy and I have more strength to endure. Is your soul parched? How can it not be in this season of time where persecution is prevalent and deception is all around us? Communion with God is so important for our spiritual health, our soul to be well in times such as these. Jesus, He made a way for us, by the way of the cross. He sacrificed His life on our behalf so we could have communion with God. This was His mission, His purpose in coming here to us. God desired relationship with us, a vital-vertical connection between the Father God and His people. We have access to “living water” for our soul and it should never be parched, no matter how bad our cultural chaos gets, we can commune with God, heart to heart. There is no one, or nothing that can take the Presence of God from us, God is with us, God is for us. God waits for us to have that special time of communion with Him, where our first step out into our day is bowed down before Him and He touches us, lifts our face to His, speaks to us from His heart. God paid for this time of “communion” with us. We try so hard to do things on our own, we leave God out. We have these compartments of our life-style. God, you can come into this compartment on Sunday, but the rest of the week, I can handle it. But truly, we can’t. Remember Jesus! He did nothing without communing with His Father. Jesus showed us what we needed that night He had the first communion with His disciples. He asked us to remember this, to do this in memory of Him. The cross represents “Communion” purchased by Jesus’ blood and body broken, because of what Jesus did, we have access to God, every day and in every way. We should never take this for granted and we should find our way to that special communion with God every moment to every choice, giving God total access to our lives. If our soul is weary, if our compassion is fatigued, if we are struggling emotionally, maybe we should thick about taking down the compartments in our lives and being wholly-holy God’s in every way, every day, letting God navigate us, being in communion with God, heart to heart. God Still Speaks~ Listen Up ~ Closely ~ Heart To Heart It is windy, loud and in our face, this is our current cultural chaos. How are we supposed to hear God? We can’t even hear ourselves think! There is so much chaos swirling around us, but God has not stop speaking, He has not stopped navigating us. If we slow down, if we stop trying to fix things, if we yield to God, listen up closely, heart to heart, we can hear Him, that still small, miraculous voice that is heard in the winds of our time. God still speaks. Open the Bible, sit with Him, let His Holy Spirit speak powerfully through His Word. Speak the name of Jesus, He is the disrupter of Chaos, He brings peace into the middle of our storms. Listen up to the Prophets of our time, He is speaking through them, navigating us by His Word. He has not stop speaking, we have stopped listening closely, we are hard of hearing. God still speaks. Get heart to heart with Him, listen closely for that still small voice of God. God bless you and your family, today I am praying for us all. Father God, we ask You to protect our “nuclear family” of father, mother, children. My father was the first one to teach me that a “family who prays together, stays together”! Dad taught me the power of togetherness and the protection of swimming in a school of fish, so we don’t get picked off by the enemy, who is so ready to deceive us to swim away on our own so the world can eat us up. God created us to be a strong family unit with Him at the center of our family. God-Jesus-Family A Three Strand Cord! We pray for every family unit to become like a three strand cord that is not easily broken. This is a family that has Jesus at the center of their family life. They are like a school of fish being led and in followship of the One who knows how to use the currents to swim together, safe and protected. We are better together, we are safer together, protected from the wiles of the evil of our time, from deception which is so prevalent. We have the counter cultural tide going on where good is bad and bad is good and it is sweeping into and through our nations with the divisive intention of isolating children from their family and dissolving the God given boundaries of gender. The enemy wants to destroy the nuclear family. God says: Stay together, swim together like schools of fish who stay within the boundaries of the family and are protected and safe from evil intentions. God created male and female and He creates each child given to each nuclear family, male or female, He shapes them in their mother’s womb. The enemy wants to destroy gender, because this will destroy the God given nuclear family that has been the strength of society from the beginning of time. God created family, just as He created in the fish the wisdom to swim in schools, because together is better, together is safer and together is being protected from evil. Today, we ask God to protect our “nuclear family” from the onslaught of deception, to protect the children from the deceiver. We ask Jesus to guide each child away from the cultural chaos of our time where people are rebelling against God and His design for them. Evil people are trying to erase gender for motives that are unseen by innocent children who they are preying on to advance their political agenda of a one world government. They are using gender confusion as their means for their political gains. If they can destroy the nuclear family, they can destroy the strength of the nation. God protect our children from their devices of evil, deception and crafty plans of our enemy, satan. God help us not to react to the crazy suddenly that likes to pop up in our life path. Help us to fully face you, hear from You and respond godly with Your wisdom and navigation. We can make the right choice today. We don’t chase after feelings… we do what is right, make the right choice the first time. We can be people who don’t chase after our emotions, but make the right choice the first time. We can. We can plug into the power of God, who can infuse us with the strength we need to be self-controlled, we can have a faith that is increased, joy that supersedes our situation and we can know our next step as He lights up our life-path. It is good to spend time with God, it is good to be in God’s Word, it is good to exercise our bodies and take care of health by eating good. The enemy of our soul would love for us to drift away from God’s Word, our light of truth. When we step out of the light of truth, fear floods in with a darkness of evil that we should never underestimate its power to wreck our lives. This is why we stay in the “Light Of God’s Word”! God’s Word is extraordinary and it is spoken from the mouth of our Awe-God. God is the only one who can break through the darkness of deceit with incredible and powerful light that shatters the darkness of evil deception. I am grateful that everything in life that I experience is used to etch God’s character in my heart. At the times that we are growing through things that are hard, we would rather not have God’s ways written on our hearts, we sometimes would rather not grow through. But, as I look back with heavenly-hindsight, I am so very grateful for the finger of God etching His ways into my stony heart and creating a beautiful creation of His glory, a soft pliable heart, miraculously magnificent in every facet of life. I have been changed by my life experiences, and I know I am a unique design of God, shaped in a way I could never hope for or imagine. I am so very thankful to God, who is very detailed orientated and within the boundaries of His love, I have been shaped well. God takes a sharp edged heart of stone and makes it into a beautiful shiny, smooth rock, with its own unique design that stands out for all to see, a shape only He could create. All throughout our lives God uses what we human beings will stereotype as good things or bad things to shape our lives in His character, He changes our hearts through the life experiences He brings us to and purposefully through. We are all shaped so differently. Not one rock on that beach near the Mediterranean Sea was the same, all uniquely designed. Feeling awkward, what does the human condition do, it tries to shape others like they are designed, shape them in your image, because you are comfortable with who you are, but not who they are. Do we do this? Instead of loving people unconditionally, we put conditions on them to try to make them like us, in our image, in our shape, in our personality, because that is comfortable for us. Some people may not be easy to be around, because they are not designed or shaped in personality like us, and we have to step out of our comfort zone when they are around us because they are just not likable to us. Do we try to re-shape people in our image, with our design, with our shape? It is kind of hard to do and makes for really difficult relationships because GOD is the one Who uniquely designed them. God shapes our hearts through what He brings us to in this life. Whatever condition our hearts may be in, whatever situation we find ourselves in, God is using it, depositing His character in our hearts, softening our hearts, purifying our hearts and shaping our hearts to be beautiful, unique and special so people no longer see a stoney, jagged, hard heart, they see a beautifully designed heart, soft, smooth, pliable and responsive to the touch of God. Our hearts are His masterpiece, so open them wide to Him and let God work, shape us in with the method of His choice. I am sure, without a doubt that there are not many of us who feel very challenged right now. Our national cultures are all in a state of flux and things we have known our whole lives as being wrong are lifted up as being right, there is only justice for those who lean into the political flavor of the day and have no opinion on how it tastes, just how they are told: You like this… then they say: I like this. Our society of human beings trying to cancel God, His ways, truth and life is exploding, because without Him, the ugly truth is, we are not good, the political flavor of the day doesn’t taste good, yet every news channel you turn, you hear the same prescript political mindless false narrative. “This isn’t bad, it is good, this isn’t good, its bad”! Anyone who doesn’t follow the script, you are cancelled this makes for a life-less society of brainless people who do as they are told, who listen to “a story” and not “the” story and believe the deception being spoon fed them without even searching for what is true. This kind of cancel God culture, this is exactly why Jesus was killed for something he did not do, because the cancel Jesus crowd was swayed by an angry mob yelling “Crucify Him”! Why? What has He done wrong? Oh, He has done whatever “they” said He did. We think that “we know what we know” but truly know nothing yelling “Crucify Him” riding on the coattails of an angry mob. Whenever deception is in control, everyone suffers. Jesus, God Incarnate, could have escaped all of this, but He was on mission, serving us, saving us, that He yielded to the plan of God, and in all meekness (power under control) He was beaten and crucified for absolutely no good reason. It was evil using people that put Him on that cross, people who had yielded to their humanity and not to God. We are at our best when we have yielded our life to God, when we are not yielded, we corrupt, our human condition fails forward and we can see in our history as a human race that our corruption is absolutely horrendous. Human beings are capable of evil beyond measure, even to the point of plotting to kill an innocent man, beating him to a pulp, and not only crucifying Him with ropes, but going to the extreme of nailing his feet and hands to the cross, a cross He did nothing to deserve to be on. Human being, we are capable of horrific things apart from God and influenced by the evil of satan who wants to kill, steal and destroy us, we put to death the One GOD, Who wanted to love us, save us for all eternity. Us without God, nations that are not “Under God” it is not pretty, in fact it is ugly and leans into some really bad times of suffering for all people. People taking illegitimate authority over others, walking in the light of a man made fire that flames out… these are going to be dark times of suffering. We need God. I am thinking the heart of Jesus broke when He knew there were people He could not reach because of the self-righteousness of our human condition. What about you? Can you imagine how Jesus’ heart breaks for us? I was one of those people who God’s heart broke for. He never gave up on me. We forget that we are just human beings, Who God has saved to serve others with our lives, being reconcilers, people who add value to others, not devalue them, not self righteously judge them. I f your heart has been broken by someone, don’t react to the chaos in your relationship with bitterness or judgement, turn to God, let God respond through you. Usher in the peace of God, be peaceful because the Prince of Peace lives inside of you. Jesus is our Way-Maker to loving those who have broken our hearts, loving people just like He did. Jesus was a reconciler, He did not point fingers at others, He climbed up on the cross where we were meant to die. He became peace in the division between God and us. Jesus, He went to the cross for those who rejected Him, those who wounded Him and He loved just like He had never been hurt. Think on this today when in our world we see nothing but strife between people groups, and change things up in your life to not being a part of strife but being a peace maker. Exchange bitterness and judgement for the attitude of unconditional love, and the spirit of reconciliation and put others over yourself. Add value to someone’s life today whether they deserve it or not. Show mercy, show kindness, show others that even though our culture is in chaos, compassion is not dead. Speak Shalom into your sphere of influence, and let Jesus disrupt the cultural chaos with His peace. In relational strife, do everything possible on your part to make peace and let be and let God Work. God is the Fixer. This is how we live like Jesus lived throughout all His life as He spoke the truth in love, was peace where there was strife, and loved unconditionally, never giving up on what was right, standing on the side of truth, gentle as a dove, wise as a serpent. He’s not here… but before they said that, at the beginning of the week of Easter, they had no idea what God was going to do that Friday, what Jesus, their beloved Savior would have to grow through. God’s Timing Was Everything. He’s not here. As we start Easter week, or any week of the year, we don’t know what lies ahead for us, but we do know God is with us and He is for us in that incredible way of His. God’s timing is perfect as we wait on Him at the beginning of our week. I have never really liked Monday, I don’t know why? Anyone else feel that way about Monday? I guess it is a bummer because we come off of a long weekend and it is the start of a long week ahead. Can you imagine what Jesus felt like that Monday before He was to die on Friday? Can you even begin to imagine?? Yet, He stayed on mission, because timing is everything, and it mattered. Jesus was determined to finish well. That shows me one thing, every day is a gift and no matter what lies ahead for us, if we stay on Mission with Jesus, we can finish well. How did Jesus begin his week? This scripture should give you a huge hint: “Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited. Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even to death on a cross.” Philippians 2 Father God, make us to be so, like Jesus, may we be saved to serve and stand on the side of truth like He was and is, and in all humility, love others like He did and is, loving them like He had never been hurt by them. Jesus continues to give His all to us all, speaking truth and life, and finishing well despite our, rejection, false accusations, and hate. Because of Jesus, and His humility and His position underneath the Rulership of God, and His truth, Jesus beat his enemies and won the greatest victory over evil known to mankind. Timing is everything. He Is Not Here! That is what they said the morning they went to the tomb to prepare Jesus’ body for burial. Death was the evil intention, eternal life was the outcome. The illegitimate authority over Jesus appeared to have the upper hand because He was allowing it for a greater purpose, which had an endgame of eternal life. Timing was everything. So, start every Monday with good intentions, wholly-holy aligned with Jesus, and be like Him and finish every week well. Wait on God, yielding, believing, trusting, and activating faith, because God’s timing is everything, we patiently endure. We yield to God and His methods because we know to trust God, we must believe that His timing is perfect, His timing is everything. God loves us too much to answer our prayer when we want it with what we want. God waits until the timing is right for what is absolutely the best outcome for us. Feeling alone? Feeling isolated? Feeling Hopeless? These are prevalent things in times such as these! We are not alone in our struggles and challenges, God is with us. The Shalom, that peace which disrupts the chaos of the enemy, it floods in our soul as we yield to God. We know that the darkness in our nations has thickened with deception, hatred and greed for power, position and money. How can we fight this kind of prevalent darkness. The truth is, the darkness never completely overpowers the light. The darkest of evil can’t put out the light of God’s truth. Never, will God’s light not be with us. It may be dark, but out of this darkness shimmers the hope of God, the light of His truth, which can stand the test of these storms which are upon our nations. Hope settles deep within our souls and rests on the foundation of trust, it is a wonderful thing, never lose it, never let the enemy steal it from you. It is never too late… the is what is so amazing about God. He pursues us, He waits for us, He lets us grow through until our hearts desire Him. We should never give up hope, we are never stuck in a rut in life. Ask God for what you need, no matter what our age from the youngest to the oldest, God wants to walk with us, He wants to change things up for our good and for His glory. It is never too late as I have experienced lately God giving hope to the elderly, loving them, encouraging them, I realize He keeps on pursuing us until our final breath here on earth, because for God, His mercy, His grace, His love, they are not conditioned by time, for Him, time matters not, it is the endgame, the winning of our hearts that matters most. Our God will take us home with our last breath as we surrender to Him, because He never gives up on us, it is never too late with Him… He loves us that much that He is faithful to wait for us and trustworthy to meet us when we are ready to embrace Him in the fullness of Who He is, His life, way, and truth. If we stop listening to and spreading assumptions, speculations or presuppositions and we stop the spread of strife and instead of confusion, we have peace. A Tale-Bearer could easily be me or you, or all of us, because we all at some time or another speak out of assumption, speculation or presupposition and these are all on the enemies playground of strife. This is exactly where the enemy wants us, being a Tale-Bearer. A forceful opinion is driven by pride, and pride is at the root of every Tale-Bearer. Pride! We want our opinions to matter and we don’t want to listen to truth, we want to pridefully lift up our opinion into the first slot where everyone can admire it. Opinions are very, very often at their formation, deceptively based on thoughts of assumption, speculation or presupposition. Where do these thoughts come from? The enemy of our soul, the father of lies. When we think on an assumptive, presumptive or speculative thought, the enemy of our soul is shaping us into a Tale-Bearer, who is forming opinions driven by pride, so we can tell His Tale of deception which is not “The Story” but A Story. Being a Tale-Bearer is not even the endgame of the enemy, he wants to escalate Tale-Bearing into strife and confusion. Where there is confusion, we know automatically that the enemy is in play and deception is the game plan as we run around the bases of confusion, strife and pride. The best choice we can make, thought to thought, is to cast out of our mind any assumption, speculation or presupposition and think only on what we know is truth, not on what we “think we know” and this creates less strife in our lives and keeps us from being The Tale-Bearer the enemy is scheming for us to be. Today I am thinking about how true love plays itself out in our lives and in our relationships. What say you about love? I am thinking love doesn’t demand its own way, it is not self seeking, and from Jesus, I learned it is very sacrificial. True love has a lot of facets and it is recognized by being more concerned for others than yourself. True Love… I hope that for all of us to have this kind of love where someone is sacrificing for us, loving us unconditionally, is kind to us when we don’t deserve it. Unconditional love is the kind of love we receive from Jesus and it is the best kind of love that we will ever know. The unconditional love of Jesus, it gives us room to grow. So, I hope that for us, I pray that for us. It can’t be true love when conditions are put on it. Either you do this, or I won’t love you. Conditions that are prerequisite for friendship, for being able to hang around you or talk to you are a harsh environment for love to even grow in. The kind of condition in a friendship where you are “ghosted” by the person if you don’t act the way they think you should act, or speak the way they think you should speak, according to their needs or their image. When people try to plaster their image on you, what they were created to be and they withhold love because you can’t measure up to that, this is not true love, this is conditional and usually ends up wounding people’s hearts. I find myself saying: "I hope you have a good day" to people as I meet up with them and talk with them, I usually close with that statement. Then I wonder what really constitutes a “good day”? Is a good day all about staying comfortable in our flesh? I believe it is staying wholly-holy aligned with God, or another way of saying it: Stay In The Moment With God. What I love about God is that His purpose for us is always in play. He is always bettering our lives, teaching us, molding us, shaping us. It is kind of cool that there is God purpose in everything, in every season God is in it and He has brought us to it purposefully. God has a plan, so stay focused on God, He is purposefully working in us, so He can work through us, purposefully so. Yield the moment to God and stay with Him, let Him navigate us, controlling our comfort zone. It may get really hot, unlike what we are used to, it may get very cold and we will feel uncomfortable, but God is with us, navigating us. God has a perfect, purposeful endgame for the life season we find ourselves growing through. He brings us to it, He grows us through it. This is our God, our God Who finishes well. Are you in the moment with God or are you stuck in your man made comfort zone? Today we are challenged to stay in the moment with God, put action to our faith, as we purposefully dig our life roots deeply in God’s way, truth and life, and we don’t despise small beginnings, we wait and patiently endure the growing times. We know as we trust God completely with our lives, as we have given Him the pen to write our life story, that it will be full of God purpose, good for us, glory for Him. Every challenge we face in this life, the God purpose in the challenge is greater than the challenge itself. God finishes what He starts and He finishes well. God Wins. The enemy of our soul wants to tap into our ego. It was corrupted human ego, leading to embittered human pride, that put an innocent man, Jesus, on a cross to die for something He did not do. In all actuality, the reality of truth seen in our history, we now know, He died for all of humanity stuck in our corrupted egos and human pride. This selfishness, which serves no power higher than self, runs amuck, straight into sin, as we human beings clamor, scratch and claw for power, position, titles, authority, and worldly pleasure, treasure and worth. Without God in our lives, our humanity is pure stank. We can all clearly see this in times such as these. We need to lay our egos at the foot of the cross of Jesus. A focus on ourself first, a living out of no power higher than self, this kind of behavior is the opposite of Jesus, Who gave up His Kingly rights, said no to His ego, and went to the cross for us, to save us. It is with His resurrected power that we can live above pride, not feeding our ego, but walking in the same selflessness that He had, a servant’s heart, whose pride went through the human crucible revealing the truth of meekness, power under control for the good of others. Jesus modeled a selflessness which put the interests of others before His personal ego and gain. Selflessness is a huge part of our Salvation that should not be denied, as Jesus put us before Himself, paying our sin debt, He died our death so we could live forever by His life-giving resurrection power. Say no to ego which feeds into a corrupted pride, say YES to Jesus, being positioned underneath the Rulership of His pure of heart kind of love, a love that creates an atmosphere in your soul which speaks of the truth of Jesus: Saved To Serve. As I was thinking on how it felt to be a foreigner, not being able to understand the Language and learning the culture, the Holy Spirit had something to teach me about myself. I began thinking about how we have a “culture” as Christians. We sometimes speak in our “Christian Language” with our scriptures and “Christian Sayings” that people outside our faith may not be able to understand or grasp. We may come across as standoffish, or should I say, self righteous to those who don’t “speak our language.” What is the universal language that everyone can understand? I think it is the actions of love and kindness. People will read us, not our Bible, and sometimes, we ourselves are the breakers of our language barriers by how we act. We don’t need to say a thing, people will watch our lives, and learn about Jesus, and if they don’t understand our language or Christian culture, they will understand our humble attitude, kindness, patience, forbearance, selflessness, and love. Godly actions, genuine heart felt love, and humble kindness, all these things point to Jesus, and make our Christian culture desirable to those who haven’t learned to speak our Christian language or know our King.

There are those times in life where we feel beat down by our life circumstances and discouragement turns our hearts into an embittered, depressed, despair. We have forgotten God, we may not be of this world, but we are in it and so is He. We have to change our focus on the Awe of God. God left His creative mark on this world, there is so much of Him all around us, everywhere we look, is some of His Creation. We should shake off the doom and gloom of our circumstantial crud and shift our focus to God and increase our Awe of Him. God has created some pretty spectacular things, so incredibly beautiful and they can lift our souls out of despair as we focus in Awe at the Creator and maintainer of all the beauty and magnificence of nature. The beauty of Creation always points us back to our God, who loves us, and is constantly working for our good. Awe of God can snap us out of any trap the enemy laid for us. Never forget the real truth, our enemy is the stealer, killer and destroyer, the one who is against us. Our God is a life giver, abundantly so, and is for our good, wants the best for us. The beauty of God’s creation soul nourished us with hope. The enemy of our soul wants us so focused on our circumstances, that we miss everything and everyone around us that God can use to awaken our soul in the hard times of life. Joy, continual and constant, I hope for us this kind of joy, heart to heart! The kind of Joy the enemy of our soul can’t mess with. We human beings pursue happiness, but in order for us to be happy, it is human conditioned by our circumstances being exactly how we planned, wanted and expected. This is so rare and this kind of happiness is fleeting. It is Joy, a constant joy that comes when we are wholly-holy aligned in heart ❤️ with Jesus. This is a constant joy that doesn’t depend upon our circumstances or truly nothing really outer… but it springs up from within us and nothing in our horizontal, no people or things can disturb this joy. This joy is as constant as the Presence of God and as we connect with God in personal vital-vertical relationship, this joy is constant. It is an incredible joy that strengthens us from the inside out, no matter what we are personally dealing with, this joy, it’s stability, changes not. I am thinking winter is a season where a lot of patient endurance is developed because the “snow days” cause us to learn to wait. Patient endurance is an acting hoping and trusting in God. Can we do this when we don’t see things the way we want them to play out? Kind of like the Israelites in the desert when God gave them Manna. They hated the Manna, it had no taste, but it fed them, it wasn’t what they wanted. They asked for provision and got something different, yet it answered the provision prayer. We are much like those in the wilderness who don’t like the Manna. God is doing things His ways and trust which is activated by the truth, the knowing that our God is trustworthy, this is a great foundation for patient endurance. Things may not be as they seem, but God is, He is exactly what He said He would be in strength, power and miraculous provision, He is with us and He is for us. In the light of this truth, we can patiently endure the methods God is using that we don’t like, we can patiently endure because He has a great endgame in mind, something we could never even begin to imagine. So, we wait in hope and trust, until our perfect God says move forward, this is the way, walk in it. Don’t let what you are seeing now trip you up and cause you to believe a lie. Even though we don’t see, we wait on God, trusting Him wholeheartedly. Sometimes what we “see” is pretty scary and we can’t imagine God can makes something good out of the mess we are in. The Soul Winter is a tough season of life to endure through. We feel the harsh, cold, darkness of this life season in our soul emotions that can lead us to discouragement and then to despair. Seasons of our soul where it is cold and dark seem to make us focus on the negative, yet there is so much positive in Soul Winter when we are led by truth and not by our emotions. Soul Winter, has its own beauty, it proves the faithfulness and trustworthy of God, the ONE Who never leaves us, nor forsakes us. I believe we see God more clearly when we are in the dark soul winter. There is no winter darkness that can extinguish the light of God, nothing can. We can sit quietly in the darkness of our soul, and we will see the glimmer, of glitters of His light, as we hope in Him, knowing by faith, He will spring forth goodness out of our Winter Seasons. The SON will shine on us once again, and the warmth of God’s love will glow His glory into our darkness. Look up! He is STILL with us. There is never a Season of life where we are without our God. We experience so many different life seasons. Some life seasons are hard, lightless and cold, and our soul struggles to the point of weariness. Every season evokes different emotions and some season’s of life we have to struggle to grow through dark emotions to the right life choices. Trust God in the Soul Winter seasons of your life, be deeply rooted, anchored to Him. This anchor will hold. Step out on God’s truth, this is a firm foundation. We may battle 🖤 dark, wintery emotions, but that battle is the Lord’s and as we stay holy-wholly aligned with Him first, from every moment into every choice, we can make the next right choice. We do have emotions, part of our human design, and we need to learn not to be subject to them. I admit, I am not totally there yet, but I like how the Word transforms me day, by day, I meet Jesus in the Word and the followship choice becomes clear. God will navigate us, this we know, so bloom in whatever season you find yourself in, because He is there with you. Change is upon us. It has been such a tough season of time for every nation around the globe. I know our nation has truly struggled this year, it has been a hard, tough year, and has stretch our faith like no other. It feels like we are in a fog and we can’t see ahead of us too far, we can’t see what is ahead because everything is a human mess. In our nation, every stable thing has been shaken, especially our freedom, as God exposes and expunges evil and our transforming God shakes everything that can be shaken. We were created by God to be free, and born into freedom. The human condition has corrupted and we have fallen far. The tainted evil power of our enemy is using people, enticing them, as they clamor for position, power and money, using so many tactics of our enemy, who wants to steal, kill and destroy us. Our freedom is so fragile, because of the illegitimate authority of the few, who what to steal our liberty, destroy our nationality, and lord over all of us. This is not God’s design for us. We were created by God to be free. In this life season we are still stuck in a fog without light, without being able to navigate our way as we can’t see too far ahead. We step into a new life season tomorrow, without much change, with illegitimate stolen authority still in position over us, destroying the liberty, justice and destiny of our nations. Our quality of life has diminished and the state of our nation is poor. We choose to focus on Jesus, He is the Fixer, we are not. We make the choice to position ourselves underneath the Rulers hip of God’s Love. We know, without a doubt, no human being can help us at this point, only God can. This is obvious as we spiral downward as a nation. Knowing God is with us, knowing He will never forsake us, this truth helps us to activate our faith, and our wholly-holy trust in God as God’s truth is the only thing that nourishes our soul with hope, anchoring us during these unstable times. Knowing that God has not abdicated His power to evil, knowing He is in the midst of this storm, and knowing God will intervene and will deliver us from our enemies, out of this fog into His Light of Truth, this truth feeds our hope. These are horrific times where deception has stolen so much from us, knowing that it will get worse before it gets better. Yet, we know what the reality of truth is: we are free in Christ Jesus, and this is the truth we focus on, this is the truth we live out of as we patiently endure, stepping into the new year, knowing our worldly viewpoint remains really bad, but our kingdom perspective is still very hopeful. We pray God helps us to be gentle as doves, and wise as serpents, and navigates us in this fog until He intervenes in that way only He can. The sun is going down on our day and our year is literally coming to an end, we will be in a new year, what a milestone! This new year is a milestone, because it is an evening where when we wake up, we have a new day, a milestone to measure our lives with. We can look back on the year behind us and look forward to the year ahead of us, this is a milestone. So much has changed this year and that is no exaggeration, much has quickly and radically changed up for us. We human beings, we measure things by the milestones in our lives, we all do it. Year 21 is a big milestone, year 30, year 50, year 70… all these milestones where life is measured by what is behind and what is ahead. The milestones of our first date, marriage, having our first child, all these things change what is ahead of us in a radical kind of way. God is like that, He surprises us with spiritual milestones, where we are given opportunity to “grow through” with Him. God has done so much for us, we can look back and see spiritual milestones, knowing there is no day where we have not grown in Him. As the sun sets on our today and we know tomorrow will be a new milestone, we think about what God has done for us, because this is what really matters, this is what is forever. God changes us up, so when we think about the milestones in our lives, let’s flip-flop our thinking to how we have grown as a person, how our personality, actions and ways have reflected Jesus. We are becoming, we are becoming like Him, what milestone have you marked this year in your spiritual walk with God? Have you become more trustworthy? Has your faith increased? Have you become more patient, enduring with God, leaning into His Sovereign Sway? How much of your life have you turned over to Him this year, are you becoming closer to being wholly-holy-his? What is the state of your heart and soul as we walk towards another milestone in human time? Is it well with your soul? These are good things to reflect on as we close out this year and begin a new day, another milestone tomorrow, another new year.
