Choose To Replenish
ChooseReplenish.mov
For me, when I need some time off, I choose golf. I enjoy it. Some times we just need to choose to replenish our soul. It was a good choice for me the other day. I needed it, my soul needed it and I was so glad I made that choice to take some time off.
Put some rest on your calendar this week. Take some time off, it will be so good for your soul. God puts a lot of things on our plate and we depend on Him to be equipped to carry them out by His strength and navigation. There are times that we can be so very busy and it is all good, and all God directed, but our body gets tired. This is why God leads us to take a “time out” making a choice to step outside of all the hustle and bustle of our lives and take some time to shake off everything we don’t need to be carrying and just replenish our soul. Take a deep breathe of God’s peace in your soul. Replenish! Even Jesus needed a break!
As often as possible Jesus withdrew to out-of-the-way places for prayer. Luke 5:16
Choose To Take Some Time Off! Replenish! It is so good to do this, refresh our soul and we need it. We are human, with a human condition. Many times we carry way too much than we should be carrying and we get burdened, kind of like a heavy weight on your shoulders and it makes it hard to walk. Have you ever felt like: I can’t take another step!! When we get tired, this is when we start powering through this and it depletes us totally. This can be our soul, it can be very tired, especially if we are powering through our life, instead of letting God shoulder our cares and burdens.
It is hard in a chaotic culture of busy, busy, busy, to stop and take some time off. I feel guilty when I do it. We are conditioned by our culture to go, go, go and go and be productive. God does not expect this from us, in fact He modeled through Jesus the need to withdraw and replenish our soul. We human beings, we usually push ourselves into a crash and burn situation emotionally, physically and spiritually. We keep going until we dead-end. Why not stop and choose to replenish sooner, before we crash and burn!?? We push ourselves so hard, we need to change it up.
A Grateful Heart Replenishes The Peace Of Our Soul By Ushering In A God Harmony Like No Other. God Responds To A Heart Of Thanksgiving With His Shalom That Shatters Chaos In Our Soul With His Peace.
When I get soul tired, compassion fatigued and I don’t take care of it, ignoring the signs of it, I lose my peace and without that harmony with God, I can do nothing well, nothing that matters. I need time off and when I make that right choice, I do better. So I did that the other day. I just did it. I went and played 9 holes of golf, all by myself. The day was beautiful, the air was clean, fresh and the sunshine was refreshing. It was such a time of God connection for my soul and I enjoyed it so much, because golf is one of my favorite sports. I am telling you that it really refreshed my soul.
Do something you love today, take some time off, replenish your soul, refresh your spirit. You will be so glad you did. I sure am glad I played those nine holes of golf. I did not play as well as I would have liked to, but I sure enjoyed it. God bless ya! Replenish Your Soul! Choose To Replenish!

Soul Funk
Do you ever feel that restlessness in your soul that actually makes you feel grouchy with that “whatever” kind of attitude. The culture we live in has clashing tides. The incoming tide bounces against the outgoing tide and the current in the middle of this transition can be so very disturbing. We can get in an incredible “soul funk” when the old tide is going out and God is bringing in something new.
Sometimes we have trouble moving from the old to the new because the enemy of our soul stirs up current and we get stuck in the rip tide created by his havoc. But, we can’t blame everything on the enemy of our soul, sometimes we are our worse enemy. We just don’t want to leave our comfort zone. We like where we are, we feel comfortable in the flow that we are in. God says to us: “I have something new for you, follow Me into this Great God Adventure” and we who resist change will say: “Whatever”… we get an attitude in our soul that does not want to hear about new things and we tune God out.
When God has something new for us, we need to resist the “soul funk” of “whatever” attitudes. This kind of attitude is what stirs up most of our bad current when the old is going out and the new tide is coming in. This is a time like no other time in history where we have to settle it… settle what… settle our “soul funk” by making a decision to give God total access of our lives, to be wholly-holy His and move with the flow of His Kingdom tide, in followship of His Voice.
So many times we follow the wrong voice. We need to know God’s Voice, tighten up our vital-vertical relationship with Him and tune out all other voices and listen up to Him. The goal for us is to obey God the first time He asks, to step out in faith. Many times we hear things in our mind and many times it isn’t God saying them. To bring our thoughts into subjection to God and His living Word, the best course is when a thought pops into your mind, especially when you are traversing the currents from old to new things, the best thing to do is take that thought captive: “Who Said That” ask yourself, did God say that? Would God say that?
During times of transitions, we must align our thoughts with God’s Word. Did God say that? If we press through the negative current with the power of the truth as we face life transitions, then we will stay in followship of Jesus as He ushers in the new tide of a Great God Adventure that will challenge us and change our lives in ways only He can. Don’t Miss Out. Yield To God. Shake off the “soul funk” of a “whatever” attitude and swim against the cultural tide in the strength and power of God. No more “soul funk” enjoy your Great God Adventure. Have fun! God bless ya.

A Mirror Effect
What does our lives reflect? When people look into the mirror of our soul what do they see? Do they see selflessness? Do they see pride? Do they see humility? Do they see a kind soul? So, basically without God, without that heart to heart relationship with Him, we are not so good. People without God have a mirror effect of all things evilish. What mirror effect do you cast off? Good or evil? Good character or bad character? Which one?
As we spend time getting to know God we get that godly mirror effect in our lives. You know God, Who is a very personal God, always has been, always has wanted to have a personal relationship with those He created in His Image, He is a great reflection for our mirror effect. Yes, we were created in God’s Image, this is a mirror effect of God on humanity. The world fogs up our mirror effect with all kinds of smog, pollution, corruption and deplorable mirror reflections happen. A connection with God, a vital-vertical relationship with God, changes things up, giving us a mirror effect that is so pleasant for others to behold and partake in. Who would you rather hang with, a selfish person or a selfless person who has the mirror effect of God’s goodness?
We are a reflection, a mirror effect of our heart, soul and spirit, this is who we are. It is not about what we look like in the mirror that matters. We are more than an outward body, and the inside soul of our life, reflects to the outside. What is in our heart will be what flows into the issues of our lives. As we spend time with Jesus, we become a mirror effect of Who Jesus is, a reflection of His grace, mercy, wisdom, kindness, goodness, love, selflessness and hope.
“Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. 21Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. 22Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.
23So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.” Proverbs 4:20-23 TPT
So we get into the Presence of Jesus and let the light of His Truth shine upon us and we reflect the all of His everything, we become a mirror effect of the goodness of God to the world we live in; a good light, a strong light, a consistent light in the darkness of our world is our mirror effect of godliness in our soul. In fact, the mirror effect of reflecting Jesus resembles the shattering of darkness with light. So on this day, turn the Light on… reflect Jesus, be His mirror effect, and shatter darkness wherever you go. God bless ya.

Resemble Jesus: Less of me and more of God, this is how I respond when I have chosen a vital-vertical relationship with God. At the get go of my day, I bow my life before God and I make a relational heart connection with God, a commitment of accountability to God’s Holy Spirit in the day at hand. I am living out of the spirit from the inside to the outside, therefore the outside does not get the demanded impulsively-willed reaction that it asks for.

Grace Is
To put it simply, grace is Jesus. I heard this today from Paul David Tripp:
“The culmination of the Gospel is that Jesus, is the Grace of God, Grace is not a theology first, a way of thinking or just a plan, Jesus is the ultimate embodiment of the Grace of God. No Jesus, no grace. No incarnation, no grace. No righteous life, no grace. No sacrifice, no grace. Jesus is the Grace of God.”
We all need to receive Grace daily and to give grace daily, this is a good circle of the wholesome life. We need to be people of grace, be like Jesus in all of our ways. We human beings tend to judge from appearances and assume other people’s motives and love conditionally. Jesus loved us unconditionally, He came here, to us, this King of Heaven, died our death so we could live His life. When He came here, we were definitely not good humans. We rejected Jesus, beat Him, wounded Him and crucified Him. We killed Him. Basically He went to the cross because of Grace and loved us even though we had hurt Him. We hurt Him, He loved us just like we never had done it. This is grace and many of us have not matured to the place where we can change it up to grace.
Jesus loved us right where we were at and sacrificed for us selflessly even though we did not deserve it. Are you a person of Grace? Do you judge people from the outside, by how they are acting or by the presumptions you have formed about them. Do we judge by what we see? Do we act out towards others by what we think we know?
Everyone has an inner man, an inner reality of what they have experienced and how it has shaped them. People who have been wounded in life by their personal experiences, they may act out until God heals them. It is grace that leads us not to react badly when people act out, and we by grace remember that people have a story behind their moody behavior, and this helps us to be people who patiently endure with grace, loving them unconditionally and being kind when they don’t deserve kindness. This was the way God was with me. I had a trauma in my childhood that caused me pain and I acted out when something triggered that wound, God had grace with me, He gave me grace in the space of my anxiety and hurt and loved me unconditionally to healing. I was given grace-space, therefore I can give it to others because I know the benefit of that is healing.

A Silent Moment
Heart To Heart! Life is busy! I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel like I don’t even have time to spit! My mom used to say that to me, encourage me to slow down because she said it seemed like I did not even have time to spit. I am in motion all the time. I don’t take much time off for me.
I am up really early in the morning, that is my me and God time and that is non negotiable, I love it and I love spending time with Him. But, very rarely is it silence. During times such as these, our soul finds itself in a lot in noisy chaos. Our culture is very, very chaotic right now and it seems like to me, people are more angry than ever before. Wouldn’t you agree?! There is not much silence to be found and not much compassion or kindness.
I know that for my mental and spiritual health, I need to replenish my soul. But there is always this next project, this next thing to do. I know that God puts things on my “plate” and I usually know them, the things He tasks me to. But I also know that I put a lot on my plate that should not be there. So I get over busy. I definitely can tell when my soul needs a break, when I need to replenish! What’s funny is, so can everyone else tell when I need a break. I get tired and cranky.
Lately I have been building a what I call “sabbath break” into my busy life schedule! Isn’t it funny that we have to “schedule” a break. Oh, that shows my need for change. But, these breaks that I have been faithful to take, they have really helped me to replenish my soul.
This video was one of those breaks where I had some “silent” time for my soul. It was sweet. Silence is something we very rarely leave room for in our lives. In fact, silence is uncomfortable for us and when we have a silent moment, we do something to fill it, because it feels awkward. But, lately I am getting used to my “silent” moments that I have been taking and I can tell you, it really does replenish my soul. I did to realize how much I needed the “silence”. So enjoy this 1 Minute Encouragement Video on “A Silent Moment”. And I encourage you to get your calendar out and schedule in a “silent moment” for your soul. You will be so glad you did. God bless ya.

Mindful Of Us
Sometimes life batters ours soul and we feel not wanted, hopeless and alone.. It happens… life… and these storms in our lives pop up and batter our mind with the thoughts that we are not wanted and they etch in our soul hopelessness if we think on them. Instead, we need to think on the truth. God wants us. God has always been mindful of us. He wanted us from the beginning before the creation of anything, we were in His thoughts. Before God breathed life into humanity, He was mindful of us. We are loved. We are wanted, and we always were from there to here unto forever, God wants us, God has a great plan for us, an amazing future and hope.
The Amazing Truth That Counterattacks The Lies Of Our Enemy Is: We are wanted! It doesn’t matter where we are in our life or what shape we are in or the situation we find ourselves in that is bullying our soul with lies, we are loved unconditionally by our God and always wanted. God loves us. Period. God wants us Period. Sweet truth is He was always mindful of us even before the Universe was, He was thinking of us.
Today, He wants us, tomorrow He will want us and into forever, He wants us with Him. People are the ones who batter our soul with their wanting us one moment and the next moment not wanting us. People can be cruel and mean spirited, but God never is, He is kind, generous, loving and always remains the same… God wants us. So, if rejection has come your way has unsettled your soul and you find yourself not wanted and not loved unless you meet specific conditions, shake it off, the evil schemes of the enemy to steal your joy and look up and know without a doubt that God is mindful of us, always and forever, God wants us.
He Was Mindful Of Us Before He Even Created The World Or Shaped Us Into Being… God Wanted Us…
This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts. And in love he chose us before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence. For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace —for the same love he has for the Beloved, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! Ephesians 1:4-6 TPT

It is never too late… that is what is so amazing about God. Our God pursues us, He waits for us, He lets us grow through , giving us enough space until our hearts desire Him. We should never give up hope, we are never stuck in a rut in life, there is always a way out because we have a Way-Maker God who loves us immeasurably so, and we can’t even begin to wrap our minds around this kind of God-Love.

A Perfect Day
We have these moments in life when God inspires us so much, it is overwhelming, and all we can say is: “God, you have absolutely outdone Yourself,” though we know that is not true, that He can’t really outdo Himself… but sometimes it does feel like that. Wow… today was one of those days. A perfect God given day. I was so distracted with life situations buzzing around in my head and I decided to go take a walk on the beach. Have you ever had those moments in life where you feel like your head is on spin mode and as hard as you try to wrap your mind around your life situation, you just can’t do it. Sleepless nights occur during these spin cycles! Today, I had gotten up really early to pray and spend some time with the Lord, it was dark out and when I finally stepped outside, and saw the day that had shaped up, off I went to the beach. I needed a soul sabbath! Bright, sunny, perfect temperature, a little bit of wind, what a gift from God this day was to me, and I needed it. The Awe of God, this incredible day stirred up in me, it just sat on the distractions and said “be quiet - be still my soul” and the beauty of God’s creation was illuminated in my senses. I realized, despite what I am “growing through” there is so very much to be grateful for. Illumined Soul! It is so true that gratefulness is the pathway to peace for our soul… and this beautiful day, God’s gift to my exhausted soul, I saw the hand of God in it, and it was spectacular, and all I could think about was how incredible our God is in the Creation of such beauty, in the every day maintenance of our world. I stand in Awe of Him. And it is so great when He gives us a day such as this one, a perfect day in an imperfect world, and everything else that we are “growing through” pales in significance to Him and all He has done and is doing for us. God Loves Us… Perfectly! So have a beautiful day, Heart To Heart and God bless you and yours.

Uphill Battle
Trudge, trudge, trudge up that hill and do not despise small beginnings because God is in the sweat as we persevere and keep moving in followship of Him. Sometimes God leads us uphill. Sometimes it is hard to follow Him, not knowing exactly where we are going. Ever felt that way, ever said: Slow down God, I can’t keep up?
Oh No! A Life Detour Ahead! Sometimes I am not even sure what my next step is? Walking up hill, not knowing what I will meet at the top. I don’t like that… do you? It is way outside my comfort zone. When I am walking uphill for a long period of time, it feels hopeless to me, and I find myself in the shadow of doubt, the shadows of life where there is no sunshine and I begin despising that sudden detour, finding my eyes glued on the detour, I trip up, I stumble, I flesh out.
These times I find myself lost in the shadows of life, I stop, I pray and I look from where I have come. Then I see the crooked places God has made straight, I see God’s faithfulness and I know He is trustworthy. When the dust in my soul settles, I see Jesus, so I step out once again in the wisdom I know, in followship of Him.
In those dark places, in the shadows of life it can be very discouraging and hopelessness can set in our soul. Yet, even in the shadows, God is with us. Yes, even in the shadows of life, the dark places, stay in followship of God, step by step. He will give us enough light for our next step. Take that next step forward today and walk in the wisdom you know. Because God will make crooked places straight: this is the way, walk in it… and when we follow after Him, He leads us into the SONshine. God delivers us out of all of our shadows and He is the joy in the shadow. God bless ya.

It Is Slippery
The Prince of Peace is with us. His name is Jesus. There is so much peace even at the mention of His name. It is like a “Shalom” - which disrupts all the chaos around us and ushers in the peace of God.
From nation to nation there is a lot of cultural confusion and chaos going on. No matter what nation you are from, you are feeling the lack of peace, it is slippery.
To have peace, focus is necessary. Focus on what? Focus on Jesus, His Word, His Way, His life. If we spend time rutting our minds with the chaos of false narrative and fake reality, then we get a false front of peace which is very slippery and we can’t hold on to it.
Trusting God, entrusting God with you life, giving Him total access to your life and yielding your way to His is a sure way to a lasting peace. Letting be, being still and knowing He is God is a peaceful place to be, a pleasant place amidst all the chaos surrounding us.
Deception is a peace disrupter and finds its power in assumption, speculation, presupposition, rationalization. But in the presence of God’s Word, deception is shot down, it can’t stand. God’s Word stands the tests of time and is always a shelter for us in all the storms that deceptive living brings about. Our whole universe is saturated in deception in times such as these. This makes peace slippery.
But, as we stand on the side of truth, speaking it, living it and loving it we will find that peace is not slippery, that it is always present where truth is ruling the atmosphere. So keep the attitude of your heart soaked in the Word of God, in the truth, and live in the reality of truth and your life will have a stable peace that does not slip away in the chaos of our culture.
When truth becomes an elusive factor in our lives, when the common denominator of focus becomes chaos and deception, peace will be slippery. Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace and His Truth must be our moment to choice reality. We need to position ourselves wholly-holy aligned with what is true. Shake of the assumptions, the speculations, the opinions, the faceless presuppositions and live in the reality of truth and peace will be yours in the constant-consistent way. Peace Be With You.

I Hear Him
God is speaking and He speaks to me a lot through His beautiful creation. He speaks hope, encouragement and peace through the beauty of His Creation. Sit - Look- Hear God through the beautiful creation all around us. When I have a chaotic day and chaos has filled my soul, I can sit by a beautiful lake and hear the peace of God, peace that disrupts my chaos and enters Shalom into my soul. Yes God speaks through the beautiful things He created. There is something about water, being near a lake, a beach or a mountain stream that always speaks peace to me.
God said in the Psalms: Oh my people listen to Me. Listen to me in the sunrise, listen to me in the sunset. I hear Him in both those things. I hear God as I see the light glimmering on a lake, I know He is dancing joy upon my soul, light bringing glory to my spirit. I do hear God in the beauty all around me? Do you? Do you see and hear God in creation, and know that He is God, that He is speaking to us. God is all around us, He is in us and all we have to do is listen up. He still speaks.
We focus on this world with our natural eyes instead of focusing with the “eyes of our spirit” we tend to lean into the worldly viewpoint instead of the kingdom perspective. Focus up and listen up, because God has not left us for a moment. He still speaks.

God dwells in His creation and is everywhere indivisibly present in all His works. He is transcendent above all His works even while He is immanent within them. - A. W. Tozer
Jesus Said: “My church, beauty is a part of Me, a replica of My image which reflects the holiness and purity of My life. Look at the rose bud, it has a special beauty of its own, and as it is touched by the Master’s hand, this innocent, tiny and fragile bud becomes a beautiful, strong and highly fragrant rose. My bride, I designed you to have a beautiful spirit, enhanced by My purity, a righteousness you can find only in My Presence. Through My Holy Spirit, I have gifted unique splendor to all that I created; everything has special redemptive value and every created person has unique kingdom purpose. I have placed a beautiful inner spirit deep within human beings, created to blossom in due time with My holy nature and character.” The Bridegroom’s Voice KimberlyMac
In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. 20Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse. Romans 1

Authority NOT Abdicated
God is in the battle, we do not fight alone. Are you in a battle? Know that God fights for you, that He has the good plan, that He is the winner. God finishes what He starts, and He finishes well. God Wins. We are not alone, we are not losers, we are actually loved in an incredible way, more than we could ever dream, hope or imagine. Never take for granted that God fights for us. God never abdicates His authority to evil. God’s Sovereignty and authority stands forever.
God is not asking us to defend ourselves with our own strength and wisdom, He is fighting for our good in the unseen and has a battle strategy working purposefully for our good and His glory. This is His Providential Care and it has two purposes one being for our good and the other being for His glory. He is currently working these two things out, so they counter balance each other and both come out in the endgame of God’s plan. In the transitional time between our good and His glory things can be a bit rough, but that is why we anchor our soul to Jesus. This anchor will hold through the storms of this life.
So, once again I state the truth: God has not abdicated His authority to evil. We are still positioned underneath the rulership of His love, we are not alone in the battle, we are facing today, God is in it. God’s sovereignty and authority is a forever thing, while our battles are temporary. Let it sink into Your Spirit that God is fighting for us, His purposes of good and glory are in play in our life.
Are you in a battle? Your Commander In Chief, Jesus, has the good plan and He will have the victory. Abdication of His authority is not in His game plan nor in His character and as we look back in heavenly hindsight, we can see that He is faithful, trustworthy and battle ready to fight for those He loves and win the day. It is a lie from the pit of hell that our God has abdicated His authority over evil.
Things may seem to be a mess by what we see in our worldly viewpoint, but, look up, focus on Jesus, because there is a good plan in play and it may seem, feel or look like God has given his authority over to evil, but this is not true in the slightest. God is fighting for us in a way we may not be able to wrap our mind around because He is Infinite and we are finite, because He see’s the whole picture and we only see in part.
So when you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart. God will always fight for us. We are positioned underneath the rulership of His love and nothing separates us from Him. God’s authority is never abdicated to evil. God is in control. Trust Him.

Heart To Heart, isn’t there those times where you would just like to scream out: God! What are you doing??? Yes! Been there and felt that temptation to fall into the lies of the enemy and get upset with God. He knows what He is doing, He sure does and it is funny that we would question Him, the God of the Universe, the ONE Who created and maintains it all. But, us human beings in our human condition, we have our plans, don’t we. So many times my plans have just exploded and my dreams have died and things went totally opposite from what I planned. Isn’t that the truth!!! It happens! I found myself many a time saying: This is not my plan Lord! I don’t understand Your way, but I trust Your heart for me. Many times I see the Lord opening up a way that I don’t want to go. It is not what I planned. I have bucked up my will against what God was doing, but it doesn’t really work, His Will is stronger and His plan is always better for me even if it doesn’t feel very comfortable. The Sovereign Sway of God, we can see it in our life circumstances very clearly. The Holy Spirit is working in us and we can feel and see the direction He wants us to go from the Sovereign Sway of God in our circumstances, step into it, the way He is moving. So even though we complain and we cry out to God in dismay, the Holy Spirit keeps swaying in a specific direction and we need to step into the “Sovereign Sway Of God”! The Holy Spirit navigates us and as we let be, be still and go in followship of that Sovereign Sway of God’s Will for us, stepping into the sway of God’s Will, peace comes and as always, the endgame of God’s Sovereign Will is so good for us. God bless you, Heart To Heart.
Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that] Psalm 46:10-1

Comparison Trap
Have you ever fallen into the “comparison trap”? This is definitely an easy thing to do. Definitely a trap of the enemy that we can get out of if we don’t stay in it too long. The enemy of our soul, he has a plan using the “comparison trap” and it starts with comparison, but his motive is more sinister than that… he is looking to derail us from the purpose of God for our life.
Comparison is not the enemies main goal, the main goal is that comparison leads us to be discontent. Discontentment stirs up our soul and spirit in a negative way and it is very distracting. It takes our focus off of God. Intimes such as these, it is so important to know and hear the voice of God in our lives. We were created with a specific purpose in mind and our life in Him is all about Him developing us, shaping us purposefully so. Did you know we have “divine appointments” that only we can make. We miss out on the things God has planned for us when we are not focused on who we are, but are comparing ourselves to others. Our true identity is in Jesus Christ, and we should compare ourselves to Him and become like Him, the ONE Who is our future.
Comparison always seems to drift into ungodly paths one of them is truly a twisted, crooked path of envy of the wicked. We compare our lives with theirs and they seem to have money, power, position, authority and it seems they have all good things, but this is a limited viewpoint. For in all reality of truth they have nothing that will last, they may sprout like grass, but in the end it will all burn up because they have no future and hope. In times such as these, when evil is lifted up as good and good as evil, deception is prevalent in the all of our everything, we must focus up and stand on the truth of God. The truth is, the enemies of God will perish, they will flourish for a short time, but have not future, no exalted forever.
I hope and pray we side step that “comparison trap” of the enemy and keep on moving forward with God, letting Him design and shape us, because there is no one like us. We all were created in the Image of God, but God gave each of us our own fingerprint, and He is designing us uniquely to be the best “us” that we could be. No one like us, no one like our God, who is shaping us purposefully on this day. Be yourself. No comparison. Focus up on God, and let be, be still and let Him shape you. God bless ya.

Rise-Yield-Change It UP
It is so very true that so many of us shoulder things that we just can’ bear alone. We walk around so weighted down by the cares of this life. (Mark 4:19) If there was a label for that, I call it “The Fixer” and I call it that because I am one of the biggest burdened-shoulderbearer-fixer that has probably ever walked this earth. So, you are not alone if you are a “Fixer”! You know it would be so much better if us “Fixers”, just stayed in our own lane and let God be Who (Psalm 54:4) He is, THE Fixer. (Matthew 6:25-34) God finishes what He starts so very well and we human beings, we do not. We humans in our human condition are famous for making crooked places more crooked and God is famous (Isaiah 45:2-3) for making crooked places straight. So we yield up to GOD.
You can see people who are burdened down with things they have shouldered, forgetting all that Jesus took upon His shoulders (Isaiah 9:6) for us, so we would not have to be so burdened down in our soul. I walk by people on the beach and they are so weighed down with the cares of life that they are unaware that I have even walked by them, and their countenance is one that is so down, like they carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. Jesus did that for us already (Isaiah 53:4-6) and He asked us to cast our care on Him. So we yield up to God
Up is the answer, the common denominator for all that ails us. (Psalm 50:15) Rising up out of our own, man made burdens that have weighed us down and caused us to fall under the weight of them. Looking up into the eyes of Jesus, knowing He is right there, as a Present help, wanting to help us, wanting to shoulder our burdens. (Matthew 11:28-30) Jesus loves us completely, and understands everything about us. He is a Savior who has borne all of our cares on the cross. He understands (Hebrews 4:15-16) our emotions and our heart pains, because He endured them all. It is never too late to look up, rise up and put all of our cares into our hands and offer them UP to God. Rise Up From The Burden And Look Up.
Shouldering way too much! I did that many times when I took on things I should not have taken on. I had way to much care on my life plate. I put it on there, God did not. I was so burdened by the weight of being a Fixer, stepping outside of my lane and trying to be what God is and I can never be. One day I walked the beach and I put a situation in my hand (Hebrews 4:16) that had totally burdened my soul, mind, and spirit to the place of tearfully and humbly giving up, that place where God wants us, that place of yielding and surrendering up. (1 Peter 5:6-7) I put my heavy burden in hand and offered it up to God and then turned my hand over as my sign of letting it go, I surrendered UP.
I Pray We Will All Rise Up From Being Weighted Down From The Cares Of This Life. Focus Up To Jesus, Give Up To The Holy Spirit, Yield Up To The Father God All You Have Taken From Him. Rise Up And Get In Our Own Lane, Stay In Our Own Lane Surrendered to God. Rise Up and let be, be still and know He is God. (Matthew 5:1-48)
Yield Up to God the method and way and the time and step out of His lane giving Him the room to work things out in His way. Watch-Wait-See the glory of God as He miraculously works out His purposes in our lives for our good and His glory. (Romans 8:28-31) God will finish well in that way of HIs which will leave us in Awe of Him. Give up. Look Up. Rise Up. Surrender Up. Yield Up. UP is the key, the common denominator, I pray it will be so. Up for You and Up for Me. Look-Rise-Surrender-Yield-Focus UP, let it be so. Change It Up! (Isaiah 60) Rise Up!

Born To Thrive
We were miraculously formed and shaped in our mother’s womb. We all have that as a common denominator. God designed us in His Image and then shaped us to thrive in this world in Christ Jesus. We were born to thrive. God made a way for us to stay in Relationship with Him through His Son Jesus, and we stay in heart to heart relationship with Him, as He by the guidance of His Holy Spirit, navigates us to be people who don’t just get through every single day just to get through it, but we thrive as we grow through every day in Christ Jesus, through the power of His Word and the direction of God’s Holy Spirit.
We listen up to God first! We were born to thrive, purposefully placed as who we are, what we are, and where we are. Success is faithfulness to what God has called us to, and it is in this heart to heart relationship with God, walking with God, in the strength of His Grace, that we thrive. We give God total access to our lives so we can thrive in Him.
Walking in the flesh, staying in the tradition of our comfort zone, we will not have the strength we need to succeed. God’s grace is our strength, it is not to be used for us to keep failing, and then applying this grace over our shame. God’s Grace changes things up. It is powerful and transformational, it was meant for us to apply the Grace, the strength of God, from every moment to every choice, to make the right choice that helps us thrive.
Grace from God is for strength to do the right thing, not something to plaster over our sins because we have walked by our flesh, kindled a man made fire and walked by this man made fire that flamed out. No. This is not thriving, it is failure, because it changes nothing and we stay in a rut of sin. God’s grace changes things up in our heart so we can thrive and live in the miraculous of great God Adventure. Our “YES" stays on the table with God when we are walking in the strength of God’s grace. We say YES to God before any of our choices even manifest, we know we will lean into God’s Sovereign sway, making the right choice that pleases Him and causes us to thrive in this life.
We were born to thrive, and we have been given everything we need to do so. Jesus is our enough, and His Grace strengthens us so we can thrive, we can grow through anything. Many are the trials of good people, but God delivers them out of them all. Why? Connected heart to heart with Him, there is the Grace we need, the strength we need to thrive. So, it is in our best interest that we cling to God, dig our life roots deeply in Him and thrive. God bless ya.

Shake It Off
Shake It Off
There is an interesting story about the Apostle Paul in the Bible (Acts 28) where the viper bit him and he shook it off and nothing happened to him and it caused the people to not focus on their situation, but to focus on the God of miracles. So today, the Lord is telling us to “shake it off”! We all have been bit by the viper, our enemy who is stirring up chaos in our lives, we need to do like Paul did. Shake it off.
Why is it that the bad things take the center of our focus? It seems like all we hear about, see and talk about are all the things that are going wrong in all of our cultural chaos? Honestly, I think we need to acknowledge and think first on the good things that are happening all around us.(Proverbs 3;1-6) The beauty of God in our lives. Maybe it is time to “shake it off” and start developing a new habit of looking for the good and feeling the Awe of God, for the good things that are going on, instead of the fear and dread of the bad things and bad things to come.
We miss so many of the good things because we are focused on the bad things. (1 Peter 5:7) Be grateful, Awe-God grateful for the every day things that are so evidently God working for our good. God is mighty in all of His days, we are flesh, truth and we do have bad days, we should learn to shake off the heaviness in our spirit. Rehearse the truth of God: Our family belongs to God. Our Culture belongs to God. Our nation belongs to God. Our world belongs to God. God has not relinquished the control over us to the enemy. So shake it off, (Psalm 55;22)the fear, dread, anxiety and bad thoughts and put on the garment of praise, thankfulness and gratefulness.
There are bad things going on, YES, BUT God is working things out for our good and has never stopped doing that from generation to generation. God remains the same God, He is faithful, trustworthy and has and still does love us so much. Remember that God has proven He is trustworthy, faithful and mighty to save us, time and time again throughout the ages as He intervenes on our behalf, fighting the battles of evil for us.(2 Chronicles 20) Jesus told us that we would have troubles in the world, but He also told us that He has overcome the world.
The Word of God speaks (Psalm 34:19), saying that many trials will we face, but God will make a way of escape for each one of them. So, let’s refocus our lives on the good and the glory of God that is happening in our situations every single day and let’s be Awe-GOD grateful, developing our Awe of God more than our dread of the enemy of our soul. Can we do that? Yes we can! Easy-peasy! It is just a wholly-holy realignment with Jesus, a change of focus! God bless you!

Shhhh Listen
Shhhhh Be quiet! Listen! We talk to much! We need to learn to listen. Listen up to God, taking the time to listen to God. God is speaking. Are we listening? Shhhhhh we need to quiet our soul and listen to God because He has something to say to us and it will be powerful, exactly what we need to hear. Take time to shhhhhh your mind, soul and spirit, get quiet before God, because He has something amazing to say. God still speaks. Listen Up.
God speaks in so many ways. I like to walk the beach and listen up to God, silencing the world and taking in the beauty of His Creation. He speaks in that still small voice, so I shut out everything and silently submit to Him. What do you have to say today Lord Jesus. I want to hear it.
I also hear God’s Voice from the Word of God. As I sit in His Presence and take a bite of His Word, mulling it over and over in my mind, waiting on God to say something to me through His Word. He always speaks to me through His Word, it is amazing.
God spoke this to my heart a while ago. I always love hearing His Voice, our Bridegroom, Jesus!
“It is My desire for you sit and wait with Me each day, allowing Me to purify your spirit, making you in every respect, a beautiful spirit adorned by My Holy Spirit of life! With great passion I want to say: I love you too, My bride! Come now and we will talk and reason together. The wisdom I impart to you today, My bride, is for you to always look beyond the façade of prettiness in your world and find My beautiful spirit of life! See the reflection of My Image in all things and seek out the beauty of My person and you will discover the true, beautiful spirit of life on earth as it is in heaven. My church, always be found in Me and I will enlighten your heart and nurture your spirit with an incredible security, a stability surpassing all your human understanding, a peace that I freely give you out of My inner heart of grace. How beautiful is the glorious Bride of Christ!” The Bridegroom’s Voice
https://thebridegroomscafe.com/listen-closely/
It is windy, loud and in our face, this is our current cultural chaos. How are we supposed to hear God? We can’t even hear ourselves think! There is so much chaos swirling around us, but God has not stop speaking, He has not stopped navigating us. If we slow down, if we stop trying to fix things, if we yield to God, listen up closely, heart to heart, we can hear Him, that still small, miraculous voice that is heard in the winds of our time. God still speaks.

Pray It Up
Father God, forgive us. We have drifted (Hebrews 2:1) so far away from you. Some days, in times such as these, I don’t even recognize the nation we once were, it is gone. We began drifting away from God, little by little, taking God, His way, truth and life out of our culture until we became a cancel God culture. How sad is that? Now we pay the consequences. (2 Timothy 3:2) We know and serve no power higher than self and in this position of human beings having absolute power, we have absolutely corrupted a whole generation. Mercy Is Needed. God help us. Bring us back to You, positioned underneath the authority of Your Love. Lord God, would you not revive us again? We thought we could handle a supremacy made only for You, Lord God. We opened the door to our enemy and he came in and ravished our children, stole the innocence of their youth. We have wounded the generation below us and wounded people, wound people. Would you not revive us again, heal us and restore us to You? Would you not heal the generation we have wounded by thinking we could live life without You. We bow before you, we yield to you, we ask you to revive our land once again. Forgive us from drifting away from You. We have idolized so much, we lay down our idols, we look up to You, we give our lives wholly-holy back to You, Jesus.

You’ve forgiven our many sins and covered every one of them in your love.
Pause in his presence. So now it’s obvious that your blazing anger has ended and the furious fire of wrath has been extinguished by your mercy. So bring us back to loving you, God our Savior. Restore our hearts so that we’ll never again feel your anger rise against us. Will you forever hold a grudge? Will your anger endure for all time? Revive us again, O God! I know you will! Give us a fresh start! Then all your people will taste your joy and gladness. Pour out even more of your love on us! Reveal more of your kindness and restore us back to you! Psalm 85 TPT

Truth Matters
Jesus Christ says: Simply-Significantly Truth Matters. He actually prayed it for us in John 17: Sanctify them by truth. Jesus knew that truth has the power to transform. Don’t give up on truth it will eventually break through the darkness and shine so brightly people won’t be able to look away.
People in our time are wallowing in deception and have created fake realities for themselves so truth has no part of their lives. Even if you feel there is absolutely no truth anymore, that deception is running rampant and people are making bad choices because they are deceived, truth matters. Never give up on truth. The enemy can’t indite truth and win. God’s truth stands the tests of time and every trial thrown at it.
Truth does not change because someone doesn’t believe it. Unbelief has no effect on truth. Not believing something does not change the truth of it. We must continue to stand on the side of truth and fight the good fight of faith. Speaking truly, dealing truly and living truly is how we fight the deception of our times.
Speak the truth continuously, it matters! God’s Word never returns void. Believe in the power of God’s Word to change things up in His perfect timing. The truth we know is coming up against the barriers of a fake reality but as you continue to stand in prayer, and are unloveable from the side of truth, the light of God’s truth will champion the day, shattering the darkness of deceit with glorious light. God will expose and expunge the deception of our time, intervening with a truth that people can’t look away from. Wait On It. God’s Got Us. Trust Him, Trust His Way And Believe Him

Grateful Praise
Praise God from Who all blessing flow. We acknowledge Who You are in our lives Father God, knowing without a doubt, You have blessed us much with Your Presence in the all of our everything. We are such busy people, impulsively moving throughout our day, packing in as much in it as we possibly can, and severing depleting ourselves, leaving no room for communication and soul refreshing with You. Change that up in us Lord. Help us not to put so much on our plate that we deplete our soul and end up crashing and burning, fleshing out in that way which is not very pretty.
You are our Creator, so we stop right now, wherever we are and connect heart to heart with You. We thank You, We Praise You. We look around at our surroundings and know, You have done much for us, there is so much God beauty to partake in, so many big and small miracles that happen as You maintain what You have created. You are so good, so good to us. We live, breathe and have our being in You. In the light of the truth of your mercy, which is new for us every morning, we have a future and a hope. Awe-GOD! Praise God! So Grateful!
We praise You, beautiful God, Creator and Maintainer of all things. We thank you for creating us in Your Image, for taking the time to make us special and unique, each person with their own fingerprint, especially designed by God. We are so thankful to have You in our lives, Father God, to have your guidance, protection and provision. You shape us throughout our lives through every situation we encounter, You waste nothing to make us into amazing people that are like You. We are so very grateful. Praise God… Praise God… from who all blessing flow..
Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute! Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! My Identity
The best, absolute best person for us to emulate is Jesus Christ. He is the only one we should put our identity in. In fact, our identity is best placed wholly-holy in Him. To be like Him is to have loving kindness which is abundant in grace, a patient endurance which has the fragrance of godly wisdom in play, therefore our character is unconditional and yields to learning and growing, to letting be and letting God Work in us and through us. Making room for Jesus in our lives, we place our identity in Him, we give Him permission to speak into our lives His truth that has transforming power on our morals, personality and character, and shapes us in that unique way He has personally designed us to be.
We all were made in the Image of God, this is a common thread human to human, but we all are also uniquely shaped and designed by Him in our mother’s womb through our life experiences that He purposefully sets us up with. God knows us best and most. This is why I don’t give permission for many people to speak into my life. They don’t know me the way He does. God sees all of us, He sees our thoughts, motives of our heart, attitudes of our soul. God knows the why behind every word and every action we take. It is a good life when we live it unto God, when it pleases Him, that our motives are pure, our thoughts are of Him and our attitudes are in check, wholly-holy aligned with His Kingdom precepts.
People tend to judge us by the outside appearance and their judgement can never be 100 on target, because they can’t know our heart, they can’t know our inner motive, only God can truly know that. It is best for us if we yield to God and we give Him permission to speak truth in our lives and we let Him navigate us first. People may have good intentions speaking into our lives, but most people in today’s culture, they don’t have time to truly know me, it is a surface knowing, it is only by a glimpse of my life, where God knows all of me.
Most people who try to speak into my life, I am polite to them, but I don’t give them permission to speak into my heart, only God has that permission. I guard my heart, because humanity is imperfect, seeing through the eyes of the flesh, seeing only in part, and they tend to criticize me, condemn me by what they think they know, an assumption, a speculation, a presupposition, these are never the truth. Being an imperfect person makes me a really bad judge of someone else’s heart. The best thing I can do is work on my imperfect life before telling someone else they need to work on their faults. God has given permission to us to love, encourage and bless others, but not to judge them, because He knows they can’t truly know the heart and motive of someone else, this is His Infinite way and not ours, we are finite, He is Infinite. This is why I no longer will chase after the approval of people, I am becoming like Christ, I chase after Him. He has my full permission to speak into every area of my life, I give Him total access.
God says there is safety in a multitude of counselors, so I am directed by God, navigated by Him as He creates enduring friendships for me, friends that have a glimpse into my soul, friends He uses to speak into my life. If you are not doing life with me, if God has not set us up as friends, if we are just acquaintances, I will guard my heart, for out of my heart flows the issues of life and it is worth protecting it, it is valuable enough to listen up to God first, to give God that first permission to speak into my life and to withdraw that permission for those who do not know me, who do not do life with me.
Many times I have had people say to me: You are this… they label me. I in turn will say: I am not. You don’t know me. You don’t know my heart. I do not let a label stand that has been pasted on me irresponsibly by someone who does not have permission to speak into my life. Labeling is something we need to change up. Name calling, telling someone: You are a racist. You are a bigot. You are a liar. You are homophobic. You are self-righteous. You are stupid. You are foolish. You don’t care. It is funny how things work out in life that a lot of times there is transference when people label you, they are labeling you with the label of who they truly are, the label they give you is a reflection of their own heart.
There we go… just a very few of the labels we human beings use to judge one another when we have no clue of the other person’s heart or motive, only God does. So it is godly wisdom not to label others as much as it is godly wisdom to not let someone speak a label upon your life. Only God Knows. Give God total access to your life, give Him permission to speak into your life and you will know truth, you will learn and grow into His character, been shaped and designed by Him.

Need God?
I am not ashamed to say: I need You Lord. I am not foolish to think I can navigate my own life in times such as these, where this world is so topsy-turvy. So much that we have known for so long is like living in an opposite day: Good is bad and bad is good. We have flip-flopped our morals and godly character is now a persecuted thing. What is right is being unjustly indicted and what is wrong is being overlooked, not held accountable and lifted up, and acclaimed.
True Godly heroes are defamed and falsely accused as ungodly people take their position of fake authority, steal, kill and destroy the innocence of children, and cancel all things christian, the good, the right, and all the sin Jesus died to save us from, is now flaunted in our face through the naked bodies of men trying to be women and women trying to be men. There are only two genders. Two! We are now being defined by our sexual preferences, we are so much more than this, we are created to be so much more than an identity based on sexual appetites. We were created in God’s Image, shaped and designed by Him in our mother’s womb. Our identity is in God, not in all these made up fake reality gender falsities. We need God.

Our human authority, taken illegitimately has corrupted absolutely and we are suffering, yet You are growing us through the horrific consequences we are growing through; You have not left us, nor forsaken us, but are purposefully shaping us through all of our human mess. Jesus bring us back to the basics of You, Jesus being our first in the all of our everything.
Get back to the basics of putting God first. In times such as these to step out on your own to follow a human being instead of God, to look to a human being to save you is dangerous drifting away from God being at the center of our lives. We need God, we need a vital-vertical relationship with Him. In times such as these, make God your enough, open your heart wide to Him, do life with Him. Don’t be ashamed because you need God, it is the wisest choice you can make to step out in the morning and your first step out is bowed down to God, yielding your life, your day to His way, truth and life.
Our flesh is weak, but God is the strength of our lives. We are seeing so much horrific behavior as the human condition has run amuck. Without God we are not good human beings and we are seeing this now, we are experiencing this now. We need God to strengthen us, to guide us, to protect us and we pray: Come Lord Jesus, Navigate Us On This Day, We Yield To You.

Simply-Significantly Enough
God is my enough! I declare this and I want to know it deep within my heart and this means I need to know Him better. He is a mighty God, Way-Maker, powerful in all of His ways. God is everything in our all. Isaiah 43 tells us God knows us, calls us by name. It also shows that God is personal. The thought that we have so much negative in our world right now. When you hear that negative thought in your mind say: Who Said That? Because it was probably said by the enemy of our soul.
If we look through the right lens, we will see God is masterfully at work in our world. If we see things through a Kingdom Perspective, instead of a worldly viewpoint we will see so much more positive than negative. Is your soul stirred up with anxiety, fear, loneliness, worry, doubt and unbelief, then your life will not be stable and you will be knocked down by the waves coming into the shore of your life. But if we anchor ourselves to God, getting to know God better, by His Word, and through our vital-vertical relationship with Him, our soul is much more stabilized and we will know that we know, without a doubt, Jesus is simply-significantly our enough for times such as these.
Our Everlasting and personal God, His Holy Spirit, with us always, for us always, loving us like no other, He is our Deliverer, He is our Rock of Refuge! Knowing God better helps us to see things differently, we see much more good than bad, and we are able to trust that God is our enough in the all of our everything and know without a doubt that He has not relinquished His authority to the enemy, He is working in the unseen for our good and His glory. The best is yet to come as we realize that God has already won, and He is purposefully working out all things, heading towards a spectacular endgame. I
Right now, it may not look as pretty as we would like it too, the enemy may appear to be winning some strategic battles, but we can’t go with what we see, we walk by truth and faith, not by sight, believing and trusting our Awe-GOD and giving Him the time and room to work things out in His ways, which are much higher than ours. God You are my enough. I believe in You, I believe You!

Transference Is
What Is Transference? How does it affect us? I have been thinking about transference lately and I have been talking to God about it, asking for His protection from it, and His wisdom not to do it. We all have been hurt by transference. Transference is a ploy of the enemy in our lives and we need to guard our heart with all diligence and don’t let ourselves become a vehicle of transference. Know what it is and fight against it entering into your life path, fight against being used by it and soul fatigued because of it. How? Begin with staying close to Jesus, draw near to Him, resist the enemy and He will flee. If transference is a part of your life path, refresh your soul in the promises of God and don’t let the enemy steal or fatigue your compassion. Let be, be still, let God work and most importantly give Him time to work and room to work. Fast and pray, because strong holds are broken when you do this, remembering it is not by Your might, or your power but by God’s Spirit that crooked places caused by transference can be made straight. Think On These: Proverbs 4:20-23; 1 Timothy 6:11-12; Jeremiah 29:11-14
I asked God to explain transference to me, to clarify what it was? Jesus showed me it was the reason He hung on the cross, He took the punishment for our sins, for something He never did. Jesus was proclaimed guilty by the very guilty ones who were transferring the consequences of their sin to Him. He was blamed for what they did and suffered because of what they did. 1 Peter 2:21-24
Transference is when you think you are a victim and you are not, you point your finger at someone else so you don’t have to deal with your own mess you have created. You take out your past relationship hurts on the wrong people, the ones who did not hurt you, because that is easier on the root of bitterness from your past hurts that plaques your soul. It is so much easier on you to take the focus off of what the real problem is and blame someone else, who has nothing to do with the reality of your inner secreted truth.
Transference creates a fake reality through false accusations founded upon speculation, assumption, exaggeration, and presuppositions, and blame is born out of these spoken untruths. Be Lame. Blame! Transference is stirring up a huge tornado with dark emotions, and sucking everyone into it, as it crashes into people with emotional whirlwind after whirlwind. If someone refuses to step into your tornado and speaks truth that disrupts the flow of it, then you backlash them with all kinds of narcissistic lightening strikes. You talk about them to others and make them sound like they are some kind of a monster, damaging their reputation, and relationships with others as you blame them for what you have stirred up.
Proverbs 3:28-32
Then comes the emotional punishment, you punish them by not speaking to them and rejecting them, withdrawing your permission for them to be with you, setting conditions upon them and letting them know they are not welcome where you are. You can’t come here because you are our problem.
Once the tornado spins out, this is the conditional part of the storm, where favor is withheld because you did not meet their conditions because you spoke the truth, and that is when the self-righteousness attitude is flung around like dark mud on a white shirt. What a human mess… and my suggestion is that you don’t try to fix it, or clean it up while transference is in play. Turn to the Only One Who can, Jesus, the Reconciler Who never fails to make crooked places straight. Yield To Jesus. Pray. Isaiah 45:2-3
Life is a course in disarray because of soul vandals, and transferring the blame is the name of the game from nation to nation, community to community, people to people, and family to family. So many people their anger is out of control, and they are doing stupid, foolish things and we are paying the consequences for them, because they transfer the blame to us. If you have an anger issue and you cause something bad to happen, you made the bad choice, so stop blaming other people for it and deal with your own mess, stop transferring the problem on someone else, putting it on them. It is your fault, not mine. Dealing with transference is a difficult thing and this scripture will give you the godly wisdom to do so.
Then he told me, “This is the message from the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘You will not succeed by your own strength or by your own power. The power will come from my Spirit,’ says the Lord of heaven’s armies. Zechariah 4:6

Water Hole
Hey Heart To Heart, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for supporting our videos. We appreciate it.
Are you a golfer? Ever played golf? It can be challenging, but it is a fun challenge. I started playing when I was a little girl with my grandfather, who played 18 holes of golf every day of his retirement. He loved the game, He loved the challenge. Like the game of golf, life is a challenge we grow through through every single day. Sometimes there are obstacles in life and there are troubles in life. What did Jesus say to us? Well… He did not candy coat it… He said: You are going to have troubles in this world, but I have overcome the world. What does that mean?
Well, I think about golf, I have a weakness… I can’t drive over water… it gets in my head and even though I have a really good golf drive, I can’t do it when there is water!! That is what happens to us in life, we get into our head, we overthink things, we don’t lean into the truth and we end up swimming in the drink. God is with us, He never leaves us, He gave us an Advocate, someone who can navigate us over water holes, yet we try to do it on our own, we get into our own head, we try to be the fixer and we fail. We have to fix our eyes on Jesus, because He is the overcomer, He has already won! When I try to drive over a water hole, it gets into my head and I drive right into the water, but if I focus on the ball, forget about the challenge of water, just swing, keep my head down, eyes on the ball… I can drive over water.
As a golfer, water holes are not my favorite, the ones where you have to drive over water, but they are good for me because they demand a greater focus and I realize, I am up for the challenge. In life, we are so up for the challenges and the purposes of God are flowing in them, if we focus on Jesus, realizing that His purposes are in play and even if the challenge is great, His purposes are greater, than we can do more than we ever hoped for or imagined…. We can drive over water and land on the green, and we can get a part on that hole. Awe-GOD!

“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33
