It is important to note that Finasteride is not as effective as testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in terms of its impact on testosterone levels. Research has shown that Finasteride can slow hair loss by up to 50% and two-thirds of users experience increased hair growth within 6-12 months of treatment. However, it may take up to 3 months before any improvement is noticed, as hair loss and regrowth occur gradually. If no improvement is seen within a year of using Finasteride, further treatment is unlikely to yield significant results.
