River House Remodel Part 4: Downstairs Interior
Join us on our remodeling adventure! We are in the final stretch of remodeling this tiny river house for Noah to live in. In this video we focused on the main level of the "Little River House". We stripped the room of all the clutter. Next, it was time to prep the floor for the self- leveler. Unfortunately, the next morning we had to replace some of the drywall because the foam expanded way too much and pushed out the wall. There were a few nicks and dings in the wall that we had to patch and sand but, not too bad. Finally some cosmetic touch ups were made. Stay tuned so you don't miss out on future content. Let's get our hands dirty! #OutdoorWisconsin #remodel #repair

Little River House Remodel Part 3: Upstairs Interior
Join us on our remodeling adventure! We are in the process of remodeling this tiny river house for Noah to live in. In this video we focus on the second level of the "Little River House Remodel". We started with taking out the old, nasty furniture that was cluttering the room. Then began taking the drywall off to see how badly rotten the boards were. Finding out the boards were extremely rotten was kind of a shock. The interior remodel was put on hold until we replaced the boards and put up new insulation which was in our previous video.(Link down below) When everything was set and ready the real fun began with replacing drywall, painting, flooring and more! Stay tuned so you don't miss out on future content. Let's get our hands dirty! #OutdoorWisconsin #remodel #repair

Little River House Remodel Part 2: "Bump in the Road"
Join us on our remodeling adventure! We are in the process of remodeling this tiny river house for Noah to live in. We ran into a bit of an issue. There was a pretty big section of the boards that were rotten on the front wall. In this video we had to take all the siding and the rotten boards off. Then replace the rotten boards with plywood. We then washed and put on the siding back on. Stay tuned so you don't miss out on future content. Let's get our hands dirty! #OutdoorWisconsin #remodel #repair

Little River House Remodel Part 1: The Roof
Join us on our remodeling adventure! We are in the process of remodeling this tiny river house for Noah to live in. The first thing we had to update was the roof, it was in desperate need of some tlc. There were shingles missing and the ones that were left, were in rough shape. Our decision was to go with metal roofing, so hopefully, it wouldn't need to be replaced for awhile. This will be the first of many videos in the "Little River House Remodel" series. Stay tuned so you don't miss out on future content. Let's get our hands dirty! #OutdoorWisconsin #remodel #metalroofing

One Year of Trail Cam Footage in Northern Wisconsin
In this video we caught a few of Wisconsin's critters on camera just doing their own thing. These wild creatures pose for the camera as they wander through the woods. There is one particular little one that was having WAY too much fun running back and forth in front of the camera. I had twenty plus videos of that little fawn. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did making it!

Plinking refers to informal target shooting done for pleasure, typically at non-standard targets such as road signs, tin cans, logs, bottles, or any other homemade or naturally occurring target.
In contrast to shooting done at established target ranges, plinking is generally done at home, in an open field, or other private land for no fee. The term plinking is an onomatopoeia of the sharp, metallic sound (or "plink") that a projectile makes when hitting a metal target such as a tin can.
The most common caliber used for plinking is the .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge, since these rounds are relatively inexpensive and have a low recoil; however, any caliber can be used in plinking, and it is not unusual to see a person plinking with a full power rifle or pistol. Generally it is also very cheap. Air guns and airsoft guns are also used, often for cost or safety reasons or because they are subject to less stringent regulation - a similar practice with a bow and arrow is usually termed "stump shooting".

Large Airsoft Capture the Flag Game (CTF Gameplay)
In our first ever video on this channel, we decided to start off with one of our favorite outdoor activities, that being Airsoft. So, we got the gang together, and decided to do some capture the flag on this humid 90 degree Fourth of July. Unfortunately, after the first round, most of the footage from the rest of the day was rubbish, but this one turned out pretty good.
If you like this content, or would just like to see where we go from here, then SUBSCRIBE and turn on that notification bell so you can see what we get up to on a semi frequent basis.
Airsoft is a team game in which participants eliminate opposing players by tagging them out of play with spherical plastic projectiles shot with mock air weapons called airsoft guns.
Although very similar to paintball in concept and gameplay, airsoft pellets do not leave visible markings on their target and hits are not always apparent. Though the pellets sometimes leave bruises or welts on exposed skin (protective gear recommended), the game relies heavily on an honor system in which players who have been hit are expected to call themselves out by shouting "HIT".
The airsoft guns used are mostly magazine-fed, with some having manual/battery-powered spring-piston pump powerplants similar to Nerf Blasters, or pneumatically powered by replaceable compressed gas (e.g. propane ("green gas"), 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane or CO2) canisters. Many airsoft guns also have mounting platforms compatible with genuine firearm accessories, and cosmetically more resembling real firearms. This makes them popular for military simulation and historical reenactments. There are also professional gun safety and weapon manipulation trainings conducted with airsoft in some fields, such as law enforcement trainings, due to better safety and lower cost. The United States Coast Guard, for instance, has officially adopted airsoft for training in 2018.

Skeet is one of the three major disciplines of competitive clay shooting. The others are trap shooting and sporting clays. There are several types of skeet, including one with Olympic status (often called Olympic skeet or international skeet) and many with only national recognition.

Full Bathroom Remodel in 13 Minutes - From Gross to Premium Finish
In this home DIY Renovation video, we are remodeling our downstairs bathroom in our 100+ year old house. When this house was built, it was long before houses in this area of the country were built with indoor plumbing. This bathroom was clearly added to the house long after the fact, somewhere in the early to mid 1900s. As such, it is small, and difficult to work with.
We bought this house late last fall (November 2020), and most of the house is in good condition, except for this room. So, we finally decided to get to work fixing this abomination of a bathroom. We took out the old appliances, including a cast iron free standing tub with an overhead shower head conversion and surround curtains. We also removed the old toilet and vanity. There was no mirror when we moved in, just a hole in the wall.
We have replaced the old terrible appliances with a new toilet with push button low flow water saving options, a new taller vanity with stainless spout combo. We added a mirror, and most importantly replaced the tub with a standing surround shower with a modern frameless gliding glass door. The most difficult part of this project being working around an existing large full size window in the shower. And of course we painted the whole room, re finished the door and trim, and installed new sub floor and Vinyl sheet flooring.
We did all of the work ourselves with the help of my father in law, brother in law, and children. The total cost of this project was approximately $2500.

Handcrafted Hardwood Walking Sticks - Full Process From Tree To Product
Handcrafted Hardwood Walking Sticks - Full Process From Tree To Product
This video takes you through the entire process of making high quality hand made walking sticks from hardwood.
The wood used in this video happens to be hard maple, but most types of hardwood work well for this type of project, notably, Elm, Hickory, Oak, Ash, or Hawthorn.
The first step in the process is tree selection. Very rarely will a branch do, as most hardwood branches do not grow straight enough to make a good quarterstaff. So, it is best to look for a sapling. Ideally one that is tall, straight, and about 3-4 inches thick. Then you should cut it down as close to the base as possible so you do not waste any of the wood. A good tree like this should supply between 3 and 5 good quarter staffs of varying lengths and weights. It is important that the tree is alive when it is cut down, the wood must be green.
Once you have cut down the tree, you must cut it into lengths. These cuts are best done with a saw to avoid cracking. A Quarterstaff should be approximately 6-9 feet long. I find the lower end to be best for the average person. It should also be between 1.25- 3 inches thick when finished.
The next step is to peel or whittle away the bark, and place somewhere dry so that the wood can dry.
Once the finished staff is dry, it should be sanded or otherwise smoothed out, and then stained and sealed.
Finally, any finishing steps, such as added hand grips or metal tips should be added.
