Matt delves into another popular optic- the EOTech Holographic Sight. Frankly, we love Holosights, but the price can hurt the wallet sometimes. It just so happens that there are some pretty popular knock-off clones on ebay. But are they any good? Do they work? Are they a bargain? Or garbage. Contrary to what the video suggests, there is no link for the product. This is due to YouTube guidelines. It appears most if not all of the sellers are selling the same clone. **Update: Most other sellers on ebay now list these as being for airsoft. But not all. Interesting. The third installment in our Temu/Cheap Body Armor Series. This time we test out a multitude of rifle rounds against a $100 Level IV (allegedly) plate purchased from Temu. Will it stop even a black tip 30-06? #temu #bodyarmor #guns Okay... We have some 'bad' news. Temu seems to have gotten in trouble for selling body armor on their site/app. These listings are no longer on Temu. HOWEVER, if you know where to look on the internet, you can find these, though they may cost a little more. We think we found the supplier for the Temu products...so....yeah...there may be future videos on this. Also, we have another test...we think of something that is still available on Temu. ***SPALL/SPALLING NOTE*** Typically speaking, spall/spalling is not an issue with ceramic plates because of the materials used. The issue is mostly with steel plates, but also poorly made plates. Since these are so cheap, we are not ruling out poor quality or ballistic material at the back of the plate, and thus, until tested, we will not rule out spalling from these cheap ceramic plates. There were a TON of behind the scenes precautions taken with this, some of which even hinder providing more accurate results.** We decided to test the visual impairment and visual accuity detriments caused by alchol consumption the only safe way we know of- by using drunk goggles. We hope that even this very limited test provides some insight for anyone wondering about the SOME of the effects of alcohol on even very close range shooting (5 yards).
