Vlog 4 January 2023 | Nearly all countries limit you to bringing ten thousand dollars in US currency equivalent into their country when you are crossing their border, unless you declare it. It's straight foward and a nearly universal requirement. But very few people understand it. Why does it exist and what does it really mean? [Edit] The US itself does the $10K limit "by household", not by individual. I believe that they are unique in this. If that's the indentifying numbers, imagine how few people are actually Catholic as people mean when they ask the question. Could it be as low as 20%? For North Americans this is a very odd arrangement, but in much of the world, especially in Latin America, it is totally normal and expected.
