While waiting for Comet Leonard in the west, I captured the full moon rising in the east. The videos were taken with the same Sun f300mm zoom lens (F5 then F22) produced at 4x speed. Background music : On Our Way (Video Editor, Win10) However I had no luck seeing the comet later that evening. It is usually a short time window between the faint comet emerging from the retreating twilight and setting.

With over 37 deg C in the day time, a storm in the evening was not surprising. The clips were extracted from a recording of roughly one hour starting 9pm local time. There were a few splashes of rain but when I picked up my old smart phone and the stand at 10pm they were dry.

A few photos of Heron Way Reserve - look at the clouds! An interestingly convenient place to live in. 10 minutes walk then you see the Sugar Loaf in the Hallett Cove Conservation Park. 10 minutes drive then you are in Hallett Cove Shopping Centre. It was one of the infrequent beautiful days in the wet winter. It rained again on the next day. I was not alone, there were a few folks driving to watch the sunset, warmer in the car. I am the last to leave as I had more tasks and fought the cold winds. Another experiment - time lapse in between the car cam videos. Another plane, I reckon I'll stop here unless you want more. I live in a small city, it will be rare to see a 787 or A380 here, not even a 747.

The third plane in the series. Do I look silly taking all these videos? Yes, especially when I thought I was capturing an excellent time lapse (with my DSLR on a tripod) starting from a perfect sunset through to when the first stars appear in the sky. A trivial mistake made me look really silly.

This is the second plane landing that evening. Here we see a surfer enjoying along the coast line. In my memory, this evening was extremely calm and beautiful compared to the bitterly cold winter rain that came in the following few days. Cherish! That evening can be marked as the last day of autumn.

Shortly after the plane passed by the sun sets into the sea. Listen to the sound of the waves among occasional noise of the traffic.

During a perfect sunset, extremely calm weather where the wind is seldom easterly, I witnessed a few planes landing from off the coast.

It didn't take a lot of luck to have a clear sunny day, so we again had a great view on the beautiful city we are living in. Later into the month (or April?) South Australia went into lock down mode for a few weeks.

This video highlights a selection of photos we took in 2020 along the beaches or lakesides of Adelaide, South Australia. Despite the pandemic, I am grateful we still had time to get some fresh air as South Australia did a very good job to combat the virus. Yes, I am lucky enough to live in a paradise!
