Struggling With Wedges! You NEED to Watch This #shorts
I have a great solution for those who struggle with hitting wedges. Pros always launch the ball less than 30 degrees. To achieve this, I need to have shaft lean and lag at impact. The shaft must be leaning forward in front of the club; if not, hitting wedges is almost impossible. To measure the launch angle, I use a simple method: I walk a few paces from where I hit the ball to where I can see it fly, and compare the distance with a wall, ceiling, or alignment stick. This way, I can determine the maximum height to launch the ball.
For a surefire way to hit below that height, I use a drill where I set the wedge up about a club head width off the inside of my back foot, with the ball about one club head width inside my back foot. I flare and open my front foot, rotate through the shot and get the shaft leaning forward, making sure I have a lot of lag, and that at the bottom of the swing, the button of the club is over the top of the golf ball. If the button is below, I've cast the club, flipped it, and will scoop it, making me a terrible wedge player.

Balanced Weight at setup Part 3
I have a trigger of lifting my left toe off the ground to help with this weight shift. It may seem counterintuitive, but starting with more weight on your right side will actually help you get to your left side easier and swing all the way through to a balanced finish.

Balanced Weight at setup Part 2
I suggest starting with about 60% of your weight on the inside of your right foot at address, which will help you get the right tilt and draw. As you start your swing, you want to press the inside of your right foot into the ground and then focus on getting left and swinging down.

Setting up with a shoulder tilt
We need to introduce a little bit of tilt into our setup. By bumping our shoulders and spine angle slightly away from the target, we can compensate for the lower right hand on the club, leading to a more natural and powerful swing.
When we set up like this, our forearms are matched up, and our shoulders look pretty square from the down-the-line view. This allows us to swing naturally, coming from the inside rather than over the top, and easily hit that coveted draw shot. So, next time you're setting up to the ball, remember to introduce a little bit of tilt to your shoulders for a better, more effective alignment.

Setting up square to the target
Let's dive into one of the most common misconceptions when it comes to setup . For those who are a bit more technically inclined, we often think about setting up everything square to our target line. We want our feet, hips, shoulders, and everything else to be in perfect alignment.
To achieve this, we typically set up with our shoulders level, thinking that this will create a perfect square alignment. However, this can actually cause us to line up a little bit open, leading to weaker shots and a tendency to fade the ball.
The reason for this is that when we set up with our shoulders level, it opens them up due to the position of our hands on the club. As we move our right hand down the club, our shoulders naturally open up, leading to an open alignment.

Use the swing plate to shallow out your swing
Are you tired of your steep swing... I will teach you how to use a swing plate to get the exact angle that tour players swing on. It's easy, and it works like a charm. You will see how to use the swing plate to keep your club shallow for every swing.

Can you match the swing plate angle?
If you're someone who wants to shallow out the club, then this video is perfect for you. Watch it now - https://topspeedgolf.tiny.us/42fntfxy
Let's discuss the frustrations of not having the right feedback to know if you have the right angle. I'll show you a device that I've discovered which gives you the exact angle that tour players use, and it made all the difference in my own game.
The swing plate is a high-quality device that lays on the ground and has an angle finder attached to it. It's great because it has the degrees on there so you can adjust it to your desired angle. I've found that most players don't get too far to the inside, so when you switch to swinging on the correct side of the training aid, it changes everything.
I explain how to use the device to improve your swing, and I also provide feedback on how to know if you're overdoing it. The device is foolproof, and if you use it correctly, you'll hit shallow shots with your club coming from the inside.

Neutral Driver Grip Results
The driver grip can make a big difference in your performance. I compared my driving distance with a weaker grip and my normal, neutral grip, and the results were clear. With the weaker grip, I only carried the ball 255 yards and had a ball speed of 160 mph. But with my neutral grip, I picked up about 22 yards of distance and 10 mph of ball speed, averaging 300 yards total driving distance. Check out the video to see the difference! #golf #golftips

Is A Strong Driver Grip perfect for you
A "hammer grip," which is a really strong grip where the club face is almost 30 to 45 degrees closed when the logo of the glove is up towards the sky. The right hand is also turned more under, as if it is going to hammer the back of the golf ball. The advantage of this grip is that it doesn't require as much rolling of the wrist through impact. This grip is commonly used by some professional golfers, such as Paul Azinger.

The wall drill for shallowing the club
One awesome way to fix that over the top motion at the start of the downswing is an exercise where you stand about a foot and a half away from a wall with a golf club. You'll swing the club back, and as you start the downswing, let the club drop on the wall and keep it on the wall as you rotate open. This will help you feel the right muscles in your left arm and right shoulder that you need to shallow out the swing. After doing this exercise a few times, you can recreate those same feelings in your swing to improve your form.
