Is Christianity Crazy?
Is Christianity crazy? Just an insane idea, a nutty religion? Are Christians wacko religious extremists?

Today, the mainstream media and Hollywood portray Christians as low-IQ kooks who’ve been bamboozled into following a fruitcake religion. On social media, if you dare to admit that you believe in historic Christianity, you’ll be brutally mocked and insulted. And you may lose your job. It really hurts when it comes from people you care about. They argue, snicker, roll their eyes, make snarky comments. And you start to wonder, “Are they right? Is it crazy? Am I crazy to believe it?”

Is Christianity a Guilt Trip?
A lot of people think Christianity is all about making us feel bad about ourselves, a constant guilt trip. Is that true? Well, no, and yes, and no. Greg explains how the path to feeling free runs through feeling guilty, how guilt is our conscience warning us of moral danger, and how confession and reconciliation keep guilt from becoming shame.

Forgive Someone and Set Yourself Free
Take back your life from all that's holding you back. One way to move toward freedom is to begin with forgiveness. Holding onto hurt makes us smaller, more miserable, and less like God.

Is Christianity Still Relevant? (Part 2)
In the previous video, Part 1, we saw that if "relevant" means pertinent to the matters at hand, then nothing could be more relevant than historic, Catholic Christianity. The problem is that we don't like what Christianity has to say about the issues before us. The question is whether we should care whether Christianity is popular or not.

Did Medieval Monks Prove That God Exists?
Faith seeks understanding; we want our faith to make sense and to make sense out of our faith. And so, two medieval monks sought to prove that belief in God is reasonable and rational. Aquinas used the logic of contingency, while Anselm used a weird trick to prove that God must exist by definition.

Freedom, Moral Accountability, and Taking Control of Our Lives

Why Did God Become a Man?
God incarnated himself in Jesus so we could be saved from sin and find eternal life---but that doesn't really tell us why he had to be incarnated. Those were ends, but why was in the incarnation the means? Wasn't there another way to accomplish those goals? In this video, Greg explains how the Church understood the incarnation for its first thousand years, until a medieval monk framed it in the way we understand it today.

Catholic Christianity and the Creation
Catholic Christianity celebrates and cherishes the natural world. The medieval monastic tradition participated deeply in the life rhythms of the creation because it reflects and reorients us toward the Creator. Catholic monks and nuns didn't run away from the world, they walked toward God.
