What are the benefits of haircare bars? Why let go of liquid shampoo in a bottle? What are the benefits of shampoo bars and conditioner bars? There are a few reasons as outlined in this video but it essentially boils down to sustainability and safer ingredients for your hair. How expensive are haircare bars? I'm in Canada and this brand I use are between $15-18 depending on the province. In US dollars, it would be around $12-15. Super cheap considering how long they last! I haven't tried dry shampoos yet, since that would be a little bit outside of my comfort zone. So in a nutshell, are hair cleansing bars good for your needs? It's worth considering!

How to grow healthy hair? In this video, I quickly go over my thoughts on the Hair Growth Lab 2 week challenge by Sarah Tran. When I saw her before and after photos, I was impressed. She obviously figured out her unique way to grow healthy thick hair. I'm going through a revamp for my hair so figured why not see what she's doing. This mini course I think, does pack some valuable information for those new to holistic hair health. If you already are into hair wellness, it's a great reminder what you need to look at to either fix damaged hair or just perhaps improve your haircare routine.
However, it is hard to see results in just 2 weeks. I think the 2 weeks is a way to just get your basic hair routine prepped. I do like that you get taught how to make your own natural-based shampoo.
I think the bigger program she offers would be helpful to go deeper into your health routine if you don't mind paying the cost of it. I believe it starts around $1,000. It'll definitely be going up. But in this course, she will go more into how to make your own hair products.

10ml or 2 tsp olive oil
5ml or 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Squeeze of lemon juice
A few drops of essential oil of your choice
Use PH strips to test. Has to be between 4.5-5.5

VISUAL RELAXATION ON STEROIDS USING A TV PROJECTOR | How to Use Your Home Theatre to Relax
How I create visual relaxation experiences using a TV projector. For many people, focusing on relaxation or meditation can be extremely difficult. But with a couple items, you can easily turn your visual relaxation sessions into an immersive experience. I used a mini TV projector and external sound bar speakers. Essentially, use your home theatre for visual relaxation! Streaming youtube on the projector, I just aim it towards the wall or the ceiling. As you can see in the video, it creates an awesome ambiance!
In terms of what kind of projector to use, devices that are capable of 150 inch, with at least native 720p will do. I haven't done enough research on projectors to give my take on the best ones.

5 STEPS TO OVERCOME FEAR AND SELF-DOUBT | Add These Steps To Address Your Inner Fears
Do you feel stuck in life? Is fear holding you back from moving forward to what you want?
In this video, I go over 5 steps in addressing the inner fear and overcoming self-doubt so you can start moving towards your heart's true desire even if there is some fear residing inside you. Consider adding these steps to your personal development routine to address your inner fears.
Even as we grow and evolve, we will face uncertainty as we have new experiences. It is all ok! As you develop these habits, moving through fear and doubt will become easier.
So how do you get through your inner fears and self-doubt? The steps I continuously take are:
1. The acknowledgment that I was feeling fear. (The discomfort can easily be mistaken as something else. ie. it doesn’t feel nice, so it mustn’t be for me). A lot of excuses come up in this step. Because distractions are easier than facing the true emotion.
2. The awareness of what kept me stuck
a. Needing control of how things happen
b. The need for clarity (for years I was chasing clarity before making a step) Clarity often comes after I make a step
c. Trust factor is big in this step
3. The awareness of what you want. I started with the bigger picture. I know the Law of attraction community touts the more specific the better but if there are days I don’t know the specifics, I just stress out that I don’t know. So when that happens, I just step back and reflect on the overall end goal I truly want.
4. Just deciding to get out of my comfort zone. Realizing that you deserve the best, you don’t need to hide, don’t need to distract yourself with external things. Just decide to be ok with feeling uncomfortable sometimes while you grow.
5. Tools to help me move through certainty and fear. There are more tools out there but these particularly stand out to me.
a. Journaling (intentions and gratitude lists)
b. Meditation (helps with faith and trust)
c. Support network (Shiftco)
d. Reading uplifting books
e. Tuning into spiritual guides or intuition. This will take some practice & trust until you get the hang of it
f. Listening to sound therapy (solfeggio frequencies, binaural beats)
g. Back flower remedies (there’s 4 that particularly helps with fear which is olive, wild oat, cerato, larch)
