Thousands of dead fish were washed up along a shore in southern China. The video was captured in the city of Huizhou in Guangdong Province on November 5. The local residents said the fish leaping onto the shore by themselves. A woman was heard saying: "It was the first time for me to see so many dead fish in my over 20 years' life." Sanitation workers were cleaning the dead fish and the case is under investigation. The video was provided by local media with permission.

A caring woman lives with 200 adopted stray cats which she rescued in eastern Thailand. Phanarat Udomsak, also known as Joy, has been rescuing stray cats and dogs for eight years in Chonburi province. From just two pets, her furry family ballooned to 200 after people on social media learned that she was open to adopting strays. She said: ‘People started to give me stray cats and some would ask me to adopt kittens. That’s how it reached 200.’ Joy added that it costs around $60 a day for the cats’ living expenses, but some good Samaritans have helped her get by through donations. She said: ‘I remember parking at the mall and posting on social media asking for people to help me with the cat food. They were kind. I received multiple transactions that allowed me to buy cat food enough for weeks. ‘My main social media account is Phanarat Udomsak and I have just created a page last month named ‘Maewmeaw Mae Lemon’. Everybody can follow me and help. They can also donate cat food to me.’

A kind-hearted man adopted a disabled stray dog and customised a wheelchair for it in eastern China. In the heartwarming video, filmed in the city of Shanghai on November 2, the dog named Ku Gua, or "bitter melon", is seen only able to walk with his two front legs. Another clip shows Ku Gua's owner Mr Wang putting a wheelchair on it and then it ran fast and happily along the road. According to reports, Wang spotted the disabled stray dog when he was travelling on his bike. Since the dog was struggling to survive, Wang decided to adopt it. Ku Gua gained weight from only around 5kg to over 15kg now and Wang also took the dog to travel with him. The video was provided by local media with permission.
