Making a copy of a deuce-and-a-half parking/emergency brake cable protector. Last in a series on how I got my parking brake working again.

We mount the E-Rod LS3's Engine Control Module (ECM - the engine computer) and Fuse/Relay Box. Then we route all of the harness wires where they need to go, and route the fuel pump and fan wires which start in the fuse box. The 1980 Camaro gets an air intake kit modified to use a GM air filter that meets emissions standards. We install a mass airflow sensor and connect a PCV hose to the intake tube. 163 is a narrow-gauge refrigerator car built by the Rio Grande Railroad, circa 1926. Engine 483 is a K-36 2-8-2 Mikado narrow-gauge steam locomotive built in 1925. Volunteers in Chama, NM worked on it June 19-23, 2023. Here are two of those days, in time-lapse video. The "new" Jeg's transmission in Dylan's 1980 Camaro had weird symptoms: the controller reported the gear selected as Reverse in 3rd gear, and ERROR in 2nd and 1st. Worse, it felt like driving around with the emergency brake on. We fixed it - for free! The 4L70E transmission seemed like a great choice for our 1980 Camaro LS swap, because it's designed to handle more power than a 4L60E or 4L65E. Jeg's was offering it for a good price.
