Welcome to Spanish Trails! This neighborhood tours takes us through Spanish Trails in Dunedin, Florida. Most homes in this neighborhood exceed 2,500 square feet with at least 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Many homes also have private pools. The average price hovers in the mid to high $700,000s though smaller homes have sold in the $500,000s and larger, completely renovated homes have sold close to $2 million.
Spanish Trails is located between Keene and Belcher Roads north of Main Street. The roads are quiet and winding. There were many people out walking with family and/or pets on the morning I filmed this.

This community is a mixture of single family homes and villas.
The single family homes range from 1200 to more than 2,000 square feet. Most were built in the 1980s and 1990 and have 2 or 3 bedrooms with 2 baths and a 2-car attached garage. Sales prices range from $275,000 to $500,000.
The villas are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with nearly 1,400 square feet and include a carport and storage closet. These range in price from $250,000 to $300,000.
Pointe Alexis South has a monthly HOA that includes the community pool, basic cable and internet, tennis courts, water/sewer/trash, a property manager, recreation center, fitness center, and grounds maintenance. The monthly fee is around $375 (as of December 2021).
A portion of Pointe Alexis does back up to Fred Howard Park and its flats; however, none of the homes have direct access to open water or to the park. Most of Point Alexis is considered flood-prone and flood insurance is required. Homes are elevated to help mitigate flooding.
