1 Million Safe Miles
It took 14 years to finally achieve my goal of a million safe and claim free miles. It was a long road and one that we all know can be very hazardous and full of potential problems. Thank you for following me over the years as we talked about all kinds of freight and how to tie it all down and get it there safely.
I created a load logbook here on Amazon that you can keep track of your work over the years. I built it myself from a re-printable sheet I kept in my logbook hardcover notebook.

Explosives Magazine-Jim The Trucker Video Series
First time hauling one just like this and it has been fun so far. I am uploading before delivery in Seattle which is unusual for me. I just wanted to get a couple new items videos and show what my loads were like.
The guitar in the intro is the same one I have been using from a friend Sean Donahoe.
Hurricane Ian Load-Jim The Trucker Video Series
In truth, this load was booked before Ian was even a known storm. At the shipper I had no idea there was something dark brewing and what it would end up doing to Florida. I feel bad for those who lost their lives and others who lost their homes and livelihoods. Me waiting a few extra days to unload was a small price to pay while others lost so much.
I was due to unload near Tampa and this was supposed to be the landfall area. As it turned out it took a right turn and missed my customer. I had hoped it would dissolve before making landfall or weaken a lot, but that did not happen. I did stay on standby after delivery near the area in case I was needed but most everyone had it all covered by good pre-planning and getting supplies to our fellow Americans as they needed them.
The boot treatment mentioned is TuffToe. I am not sponsored by them but I do like how the product is working so far.

Truck Loads Compilation-Jim The Trucker Video Series
Loads I have done over the last few months going back to Fall of 2021 as well. So many places do not allow video any more so I will do my best to update you all on what loads were being done. Many repeats may not be shown but just new or unusual ones that are cool and not seen before.
The load towards the end from Montana is the one I just delivered and I am on a break in Georgia for the last few days. Some of my usual agents have not had much going out so here I sit. I don't really do cheap and heavy flatbed stuff so I will wait to see what pops up.
Air Venting Equipment-Jim The Trucker Video Series
Air vents in crates had some special tie down methods needed to keep stable. I do hope you enjoy this unique load.
Aluminum Plate Hit My Window-Jim The Trucker Video Series
This is what happens when an unsecured load hits a vehicle. The most important thing we do in open deck trucking is to make sure all parts are secured. The young men in the utility truck and trailer must have been in a hurry. Always make sure you tie your shit down even when at home hauling stuff in your pickup.

Military Target Load-Jim The Trucker Video Series
A new style load that I have never done before. I wanted to show you this one. All year I was doing repeat freight and not worth recording. Besides, my old phone died and took some info with it so there you go.
These beams that built the base were sandwiched in and the rest of the parts were loaded on top or at least the larger length pieces. The doors were not solid but welded together. Not many places to tie down but at least they held just fine.
