Secret of the Golden Flower (book reading)
My reading of the Chinese Taoist classic, attributed to Lu Dongbin; and written upon wooden tablets during the Song dynasty in the 12th century by Wang Chongyang, one of his students. About half the contents of this book is the commentary by Carl Jung. Alchemy, yoga, meditation, lightworking, mandalas, astrology, and occultism...it's all here.

Hamlet's Mill reading (2 of 2)
My reading (D.T. Smith) of Hamlet's Mill (1969) by Giorgio de Santillana and Hertha von Dechend, minus the appendices. This book is a must for lovers of comparative mythology and history. The authors have pinned the central and most common theme since pre-deluge storytelling of equinoctial precession and the axis mundi. It SHOWS the roots of all major religions in archaeoastronomy and astrotheology. My Latin and Italian are good, but there are some sporadic terms of uncertain pronunciation, so please forgive these, as well as some long pauses due to this edition's horrible editing and frequent punctuation errors.

Mystery of the Grail (Evola reading)
My reading of the 1937 book by Julius Evola. Similar in theme to Hamlet's Mill, this earlier work examines cross-cultural myths of the pre-Christian Grail tradition, and how it all fed into hermeticism. Much of what Evola puts forth as speculation is right on. In other words, he knows more than he knows.

Joyous Cosmology (Alan Watts reading)
My reading (D,T. Smith) of Alan Watts' 1962 book wherein the author discusses drug use for expanded consciousness, not for mere kicks, and infused with his natural philosophical approach to sociological study and observation.

Listen, Little Man! (Wilhelm Reich reading)
Read by myself, D.T. Smith. 1946 essay from Wilhelm Reich. Sharp, needfully brutal stuff. This man's life was ruined (and works suppressed) by the powers that be, whom he casually and shamelessly embarrassed. He deserves to be heard today!

Hieroglyphics (Arthur Machen reading)
Read by myself, D.T., Smith. You, the author's audience, are his story's secondary character, to whom he speaks directly in this lesser-known work from the man who heavily influenced H.P. Lovecraft. It brilliantly and amusingly questions and analyzes popular criteria used to distinguish high art from high artifice. His criticisms are as relevant to our day as his own. This is all at once: essay, lecture, short story, and literary critique. I heavily suggest this to aspiring writers, other artists, and whomever has embarked (or would embark) upon the Quest for the Holy Grail.

Irish Wisdom Preserved in Bible & Pyramids (MacDari reading)
Reading by myself, D.T. Smith, of the Conor MacDari book from 1923. Relatively little is known about this author, but considering the content, we can safely assume why his works are cast aside. Those of you who appreciate the modern work of Michael Tsarion should also enjoy this. The list of Gaelic words and terms mentioned and illustrated in Chapter 10 appears at video's end.
