"The DJ is God!" is a commonly known aphorism you may have heard before, for he/she sets the tone of the evening, holds space, and controls the texture and experience of time. The DJ collects the songs he considers the best to create his scene, makes them his own, before unleashing them onto his audience. He uses the various rhythms and melodies as "weapons" to create impact and generate the experience he wants to offer his listeners. Via his music and sound-waves, he takes them on a journey! A Medicine Man does the exact same things with plants. He collects herbs that have certain properties, *** makes them his own ***, and utilizes them to adjust and create the perfect setting for health to emerge in a patient's body. Truth be told, the competent Medicine Man is not limited to herbs, he can transform words, mantras, songs, stones, pictures, smells, lights, etc, into medicine in order to help catalyze the healing process in his patients. The objective is to take ailing individuals on a journey towards themselves by helping them release the accumulated tensions which prevent the optimal circulation of the Life Force. Via this process, he/the medicine man assists them in finding a greater alignment in their lives. More often than not in today's modern world, music is utilized as an escape tool. It's a drug people consume to forget about themselves and their lives. As for the DJ, he generally holds space for people who wish to escape Reality and have a "good time", assisted of course by alcohol and/or drugs. The Medicinal healing aspect of Music and Ceremonies has been forgotten/lost, and is no more. My objective with this channel is to reintroduce the Medicinal and Ceremonial Arts back into DJing and music. In each session, I share a powerful healing transmission that will help you in your own unique way to clarify your thoughts and process/digest your own inner states. My sets will take you on a journey towards yourself - if of course, you accept the invitation. Those of you who are sensitive to such subtleties will quickly pick up on them.
