Sometimes I find some small, cheap games and buy them to see if they're anything people should be on the lookout for. Here's three of them!

Technic Beat, RTX Red Rock, and Spy Hunter | Quick Takes - Review the PS2
Time to review some cheap games of varying quality. YouTube decided to ruin my gradient background by compressing it too much.
With the exception of the Technic Beat section, music in the video was made by the Hard Men Working Hard

A Short Review of Taiko Drum Master | Quick Takes - Review The PS2
I was very surprised to see that this game was on the Playstation 2. I was familiar with the series, but didn't except that it would be brought to Western audiences as early as the 6th generation. Nonetheless, it was a wholesome challenge, and will continue to satisfy me for quite some time.

A Short Review of Stolen | Quick Takes - Review The PS2
Not as short as I thought it would be, but it certainly came out faster than I thought while I work on Dothack. Future Quick Takes will be shorter, probably.

Blood Will Tell is the Best Game You Can't Afford to Play | Review The PS2
Once an obscure title, now a cult classic, it's Blood Will Tell! I was planning on reviewing Sakura Wars after the last video, but when I found out about the new Dororo anime, I had to rush to make this and get it out as soon as possible.
Blood Will Tell is a hack and slash action adventure game based on Dororo, a 60s manga written by Osamu Tezuka, the creator of Astro Boy. It's great fun at a great cost, with a couple downsides. Such as the music. The music in this video was taken from Way of the Samurai 2 and Genji: Dawn of the Samurai, because Blood Will Tell has really bad music, which I didn't touch on in the video. Oops.

The Roaring 20's, Mechs, and Waifus. What More Could You Want from Sakura Wars 5? | Review The PS2
If you like romancing waifus and piloting mechs, have I got a game for you! Strategy RPGS often tell their stories via visual novel-esque scenes, but Sakura Wars takes it to the next level with its unique blend of two hit genres. Too bad this game didn't sell well.

In which we take a semi-deep look at what makes Jak 3 tick, why I see it as the best Jak and Daxter game, and what kind of story its trying to tell. As always, check out the blog on RFGeneration (link below) to see some extended thoughts on Jak 3 and the review, and be sure to leave a dislike and a comment telling me why this review sucks, and where it could be better.

Hidden Invasion: the PS2's Worst Action Game | Review The PS2
Man this game was trash. At least Dragon Ball Z Sagas tried. It wasn't good, but it made an honest effort. Check out the blog to see some extended thoughts on how I originally was going to go about this review!

Demon Stone is a Game You Shouldn't Overlook | Review The PS2
Perhaps if I hadn't played some of the games that I did during my childhood, I would have enjoyed this game more. But at least the stuff that's enjoyable about Demon Stone is really good.

Jak and Daxter vs Jak 2 | Review The PS2
It's time to see which classic PS2 game is better! GTA 3 was a very important game that changed the market's preferences when it comes to mature, gritty games. Its success sent a shockwave through the industry that is responsible for a number of great franchises, but I think the best way to show the effect it had is to look at the differences between Jak and Daxter and its sequel, Jak 2. They're similar in a lot of ways but in regards to the action and tone they're totally different. So which is better, and why? We explore that in this review.
Be sure to leave feedback in the comment section so I can improve these videos!

Fullmetal Alchemist has Some of the Sweetest Video Game Adaptations | Review the PS2
This time it's my favorite anime, and some interesting beat em ups! Should they be skipped, are they amazing hidden gems, or are they just all right? The PS2 only got 2 Fullmetal Alchemist games in America, so let's take a look at them.
Remember that if you disagree with what I have to say, leave a dislike and write constructive death threats to me in the comment section below!

Zone of the Enders 2 is one of the Peak Examples of a Perfect Sequel | Review The PS2
Its time for a side series! Perfect Sequels is going to be a new series being done alongside Review The PS2 where we take a look at PS2 games that outperform their predecessors in every single way. If you have candidates for potential perfect sequels be sure to drop them in the comments!
To introduce this series I decided to do Zone of the Enders and its sequel, The Second Runner, since it should be really easy to look at how a mediocre near-launch PS2 game can be improved in major ways. The first game isn't bad, it's just underdeveloped in its mechanics and its sequel just happens to outshine it in every conceivable way.

Chain of Memories' 2D-to-3D Adaptation is Simply Divine | Review The PS2
This time it's a game I didn't play until a few years ago, but I'm glad I did and really ranks up there in the list of my favorite PS2 games. I was very excited to make this video and I'm glad I did. Simply put, this game is the most complex and exciting game of "War" you've ever played. And you can skip all the messy Kingdom Hearts plot stuff if you like, which is a bonus.

This time on Review The PS2 we take a look at XIII, a game based off of a popular comic book franchise. Absolutely nails the presentation, but the developers should've focused more on gameplay.
