The Smith and Wesson combat magnum is a classic trusted by many for self defense and law enforcement duty over the decades. The Model 66 has been a popular and reliable choice for many years, although it is more frequently featured on wheelgun Wednesday posts than actually carried these days. But the 357 magnum K frame revolver is still a formidable firearm for concealed carry, home defense, every day carry. Are the days of the revolver long gone? Or would you consider carrying a snubnose or snubbie like this No Dash stainless steel magnum from S&W? Many consider the Model 66 and Model 19 to be the best revolvers ever made for carry and self defense. But has it been completely outpaced by modern semi-autos like Glock, Sig, M&P, Walther PDP, CZ, Staccato, etc? What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

Finally, the Nightwood Guns review of the Glock 43x and Glock 48 MOS is here. Is this the best concealed carry gun on the market? Heck, is this the best Glock for concealed carry? Is the G43x and G48 a good design for an edc handgun? Did it have any problems? I definitely have some strong opinions about this pistol in my review... and something tells me it might hurt some feelings. But everything is okay, little buckaroo. It's just my opinion. I'm not insulting you or your taste in carry guns. Objectively, these are great options for every day carry and you can't go wrong with them.

The biggest shortcoming of the Glock 43x and Glock 48 is the 10 round capacity. The Shield Arms S15 15 round magazines have had occasional issues, so how do the new Palmetto State Armory Micro Dagger magazines perform? Are they reliable? Any issues, problems, malfunctions, jams or jamming? Or are they the best mags for the slimline Glocks on the market? They might be the best, but I did do something to ensure reliability. Check out the review to see how the PSA Micro Dagger magazines ran!

There's a lot of ego to go around in the gun world and concealed carry community. When it comes to firearms and self-defense everyone has an opinion. One of the most common topics is: what gun should you carry, the best gun for carry, and what attributes of a pistol make it ideal for self protection. I've heard people say that you should carry the best micro gun because you are more likely to carry it. I've heard others say you should carry a full-size duty gun because it's easier to shoot well. Today we are going to hit the range to explore and discuss how much of a difference a bigger gun makes performance-wise versus a tiny compact gun. In order to take a high-level look at the subject, I'll be comparing the two extremes: the best selling Sig Sauer P365 (a snappy micro compact) and a fancy Staccato XC 2011 (the ultimate full-size pistol) Is a full-size handgun worth the extra weight, bulk, and concealment hassle? Or is a micro carry gun good enough? I'm not here to tell you what to do: this video is intended to provoke thought and conversation on the topic so let me know what you think in the comments!

The Jericho 941 is probably the coolest looking military sidearm of all time, but is the rebooted offering from IWI actually reliable? Popularized by western movies, the Jericho is iconic and easy to pick out of a crowd. But it was Cowboy Bebop that turned this handgun into a cult classic celebrity. As Spike Spiegel's pistol of choice, the Jericho 941R became coveted as the humble bounty hunter's trusty companion. Whether you enjoy Israeli military weapons or you are a Cowboy Bebop anime weeb, this handgun might just have a place in your collection.

It has become quite popular in the world of concealed carry and EDC to add a compensator such as the Radian Ramjet Afterburner or a Parker Mountain Machine comp to a ccw pistol. It is also becoming more common for people to get ported barrels and and ports to their everyday carry guns. The industry is even shifting in that direction with the X-Macro, Spectre Comp, Hellcat RDP, Shadow Systems CR920P, Smith and Wesson Performance Center, etc. So which is better for self defense? Are the reliable? Is the performance gain even worth it? And between the two, which is better? Stay tuned to this info-packed video to learn everything you need to know about ports vs comps for every day carry! Firearms featured in this video are Glock, Beretta, Staccato, Sig, and Smith & Wesson M&P. Holsters used were the Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite.

Heckler and Koch made some amazing firearms back in the day such as the USP, MP5, P7, and the G36. Not to mention, they were ahead of their time with the VP70. The HK USP was so good, they decided to make a compact so you could take it everywhere! And while it has a reputation for being one of the best handguns ever made, does it hold up as a modern concealed carry handgun? If anything, it may be the most reliable concealed carry pistol ever made. Let's take a closer look to see if it holds up in this review.

What is the best pistol compensator? I have tested the Radian Ramjet Afterburner Comp, the Agency Arms Sage Dynamics Comp, and now the Parker Mountain Machine Ultra Comp with dual ports! The PMM could be the flattest shooting, most efficient comp in this category of practical, self-defense, or competition compensators for striker-fire pistols. Check out the review!

Now that the influencers and big channels have reviewed the examples sent to them by Canik and Century Arms, the Mete MC9 is out in the wild and popping up in the hands of consumers. This is the truth about the Canik MC9 and an honest review since it was (regrettably) purchased at full retail. This gun developed problems with reliability, jamming, going out of battery, and light primer strikes after 700 rounds. However, to be fair to this concealed carry pistol and micro 9mm I went ahead and did a full review where I discuss the good and bad of this particular handgun. Would it be the best EDC gun if not for its critical failure? Stay tuned to find out!

You know I'm a simp for Tier 1 Concealed but sometimes lead times can get CRAZY! T-Rex Arms Sidecar is a classic, but it doesn't have that awesome shock cord or the magazine concealment bump... Enter Summit Holsters! A great, low lead time alternative that I recommend! Excellent company run by an great guy! Check them out! As far as AIWB (appendix carry) goes, Summit Holsters is becoming one of the best inside the waist holsters on the market!

Do you EDC a Staccato? If you do, this is the best Staccato upgrade that you can get to help with concealing your 2011 pistol while maintaining quick reloads, ergonomics, and aesthetics. The LoPro magwell from MachineWerks slims down the footprint of the handgun to keep you concealed. If you need help concealing your Staccato C2, CS, P, or XC but you don't want to sacrifice the magwell, then this is your best option from Machine Werks!

Jetfire Jim resurfaces to show off the Beretta 950bs Jetfire EL chambered in .25 acp dubbed "The Pimped-Out Pocket Pistol." This little mouse gun from Beretta is a classic that was made (in one form or another) from the 1950s through the late 1990s and is fondly remembered by many as an affordable and dependable pistol safe enough to toss into a pocket or a purse. Take a trip down memory lane in this latest review from Nightwood Guns covering what may be the best pocket gun of all time. Or maybe not. We'll see. I like it at least. For what it is. This part of the description is over now. Thank you.
