Pony Pedicure: A visit from the Pope
Today's vlog is an overview of what a visit from the farrier will look like. We look at the different tools a farrier will typically use and go through the process of taking off the old shoes, shaping the feet, shaping the shoe and fitting it on the hoof, the fitting of the new shoes and then the finishing of the foot. My farrier is Ian Pope and the farrier that shaped Danny's feet is called Patrick. Hope you enjoy!

Europa Show Vlog
Today's vlog is another show vlog. We went to Europa for a DSA Medium test. Definitely not the best show we have ever done, but certainly not the worst. We decided to focus just on the test, and the video perfectly shows all my rider position faults.

Gratitude before Contentment #40
Good morning!
Today's inspirational insight:
To be content does not mean you do not desire more. It means that you are thankful for what you have and patient for what is to come.

Control yourself first #39
Good morning!
Today's inspirational insight:
There is one principle that must never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation.

Correct and Compassionate Schooling #37
Good morning!
This morning's inspirational insight is from fellow Equestrian and Dressage Vlogger Olivia Towers.
We must not let our competitive nature override the correct training of the horse.
Never ever let a rosette, medal or trophy be the reason you ride. Always always aim to have a correctly schooled, happy horse. The rest will come.

How to #4: Plait your horse for a dressage show
In today's vlog we look at how to plait your horse for a dressage show using elastics.
I use Showmaster Silicon plaiting elastics as I find the plain rubber elastics tend to break the hair, especially when you have classes a few days in a row. I don't use gel or spray, but I have seen a plaiting spray from Supreme Products that looks amazing!
The products that I used in this video are available on Amazon using the following links:
Black elastics: https://amzn.to/2LaYSZ2
Clear elastics: https://amzn.to/2ZFRCsc

Your horse is not there to boost your ego #36
Good morning!
Today's inspirational insight comes from an image I saw on Facebook:
The horse is not there to
- reward your ego
- compete with you
- punish you
- control you
The horse responds to
- who you are
- how you feel
- what you think
- what you do
There horse is here to enable you to learn how to be a better you. And that is a blessing.

Be patient! #34
Good morning!
Today's inspirational insight is based on a image I found on Facebook.
Be patient when schooling your horse. They have no idea why their body feels strange, or why they are being asked to do these things. Give them time to become accustomed to the new movement patterns you are creating. Give them time to work it out.
