How to fix a sagging headliner... ...without glue... ...and not look like crap!
The easiest way to fix a car headliner without glue and it actually look nice when you are done. No removing the headliner, no more thumbtacks, and no more push pins. Nothing will look as nice as removing the headliner and starting from scratch, but this is the next best thing. A drooping car headliner can be frustrating. However, there is no need to go to the expense of a full restoration. Just follow these steps and fix your auto headliner cheap.

SleepyHead Software (now called OSCAR)
https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
So you found out that you have sleep apnea. Not only are you tired and sleepy already, but the new machine is adding to the problem.
So, how do you find the right and best pressure and let your body adjust to it? That is what this video is for.
I am not a doctor, but just a poor OCD Engineer that spent a great deal of time going through this process and suffering with what I described above. This is not meant as a replacement to sound medical advice.
First, you need to download sleepyhead software in order to get information on your condition. This software will give you a nightly report of your apnea that you can track over time. It will tell you if you are having Apnea, Obstructive Apnea, Hypopnea, or respiratory arousals RERAs. It will also show you exactly what time each event happened along with giving you your nightly AHI.
The first thing you do is adjust your machine to it's lowest pressure setting. This pressure will be so low that it doesn't bother you when you sleep and will help you get used to it. Of course, it probably won't work at that level, but that is not the point. After the first night, record you apnea for that night. The next night, you will need to increase the pressure by 0.2. This is negligible amount you will not notice. Again record your apnea events for the night. You will continue this process every night for a month or two. Only increase pressure by 0.2 each night. Eventually you will discover the pressure that drops your apnea substantially. Continue to increase pressure for awhile after this to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. This way you are able to find the best pressure fit for you. Furthermore, you have given you body a chance to slowly adjust to the machine.
I don't use the ramp feature, but I do use the EPR.
Think of this like an at-home titrayion study.

Does the Vitalsleep Mouthguard Work for Apnea?
A complete review of the Vitalsleep mouth guard dental appliance (Oral appliance). Although it is marketed as snoring treatment or snore stopper, it uses the same principle that dental appliances use for treating apnea. Vital sleep is an oral appliance like a dental appliance that fits over you teeth and pulls your jaw forward while wearing it. By doing this, is pulls the tongue farther away from the back of the throat and thus opening up the airway. I personally have sleep apnea and have been trying various "cures", "fixes", and treatments. All while trying to avoid getting a cpap machine. So I wore the vitalsleep overnight while wearing an oximeter. An oximenter measures drops in blood oxygen which is associated with apnea. The fewer oxygen drops you have the less apnea events you have. I had already done a baseline check of my normal oxygen drops and had something to compare with. After waking, I discovered that the vitalsleep dental appliance reduced my apnea events by about half. Since not all of my apneas are caused by my throat, this number is more significant than it sounds. However, one should note, that if you do not have perfectly straight teeth, this device can put undue pressure on individual teeth causing a great deal of discomfort and pain. Furthermore, one needs to realize that it pulls your jaw forward all night. So when you take it out, your jaw is not going to go right back in place, you will need to work it back in for a minute. Otherwise you next bite will not be in line. Don't want to chip a tooth. I hope this works for you.

How to Keep Your New Year's Resolutions 2017
A quick tutorial on how you can make and keep your new years resolutions 2017. 90% of all New Year's resolutions can be fit into one of three categories:
1. Lose Weight
2. Get in Shape
3. Be a better person
The problem is that people often bite off more than they can chew, get burned out, and by February they have quit whatever resolution for the New Year that they made. Does this sound like you?
This video is going to give you 3 simple tasks to perform that will enable you to not just keep one of the resolutions mentioned above, but all three. They do not require you to give up any eating to lose weight. They do not require you to go to the gym to get in shape, and they do not require you to become some spiritual guru to be a better person.
Weigt Loss
The simplest way to lose weight is not to count calories, not to diet, and not to starve yourself. Even the healthy eating plans are to hard of a sudden change for someone to do. Thus they get burned out, quit, and regain weight. So, if you want to lose weight and body fat this year, make this one simple change. Don't drink any more sweetened drinks or diet drinks. Drink water, some juice, unsweet tea, unsweet coffee. You may use stevia to sweeten the tea and you may use splenda when you are desperate at Mcdonalds. This alone can cut between 500 and 1000 calories from your day without have to change anything you eat. The best part is that after a few months, you will no longer miss the sweet drinks and you will be able to keep the weight off without trying.
Get in better shape
Same rule applies here. If you join the gym or do some 90 day extreme workout, you will probably get burned out in February and end up quitting. Instead just start walking. 15 minutes a day the first couple months and work your way up to 30 minutes. This is something you can do all year and don't need any equipment. You will develop stronger heart, lungs, and legs. You will even burn a few calories thus helping with step 1. The good news is if you do this everyday, it will become a habit that you keep. It also will help you feel better and will cause you to become more active.
Better Person
This is simple. You don't have to go to church more or study the bible more or do anything you don't like doing. Just keep in mind that the person in front of you is the most important person in the world. Just by remembering that, you will find that you treat people better and thus become a better person.

The Easiest and Best Diet in the World... ...How to lose weight without starving.
How to lose weight without counting calories or starving yourself. The best and easiest way to lose weight, become healthy, and feel better is not to diet, starve yourself, or follow some fad eating plan.
The "cliff notes" for this video can be found here:
http://fitmart.weebly.com/worlds-easiest-diet.html
The best way is to simply and slowly improve what you eat. The problem in America is not so much about how much we eat, but what we are eating.
Simply going on a diet plan may help with weight loss in the short run, but as soon as you quit the plan, you will simply regain the weight. Since most people are not up to the challenge of staying on the Atkins Diet, Weight Watchers, Low Carb Diet, Paleo Diet, etc. forever, then they are ultimately going to fail.
The key to healthy weight loss and sustained weightloss is to slowly improve your eating habits over the months and years. You may only lose 1-2 pounds a month this way, but it will stay off, you will feel better, and you won't have to struggle with it.
Be sure to stay off the scales. They will lie to you. Since your body weight can fluctuate 2 pounds a day the scale can not accurately measure your progress since it may only be a couple pounds a month.
The best way to lose body fat, is to make a decision to permanently change one bad eating habit at a time until you have transformed your diet to nothing but healthy food.
Start off by eliminating soft drinks, diet drinks, sodas, and sweetened drinks. This alone may cut your daily calories down by 500 to 1000 calories without having to give up any food. After a few months, that will no longer be hard to do. As a matter of fact you will probably lose all cravings for the sodas and actually prefer water. Now, giving up sodas is easy! Now that you have fixed that problem, time to moving on to carbs. Simply replace bad carbohydrates with good carbohydrates. Replace white bread with wheat bread. Replace white potatoes with sweet potatoes, and replace white rice with brown rice. Other improvements that you can make are as follows. Use only olive oil. Eliminate trans fats. Eliminate anything that is hydrogenated. Eat dessert no more than twice a week. Learn to eat at home. Eat out no more than twice a week. Limit sugar. Learn to shop at the perimeter of the grocery store and avoid the middle isles. Eat fruits and vegetables with every meal.
Follow these guidelines and by next year, you will have less fat, feel better, and be much happier with yourself. Best of all, you will be able to continue to be successful.

Spondylolysis Part 2 (How to treat and do therapy for Spondylolysis)
This is part 2 of a 2 part series on the physical therapy used in the treatment of Spondylolysis. It is very important that you run any therapy you chose to pursue by your physical therapist and or your doctor. Be advised this is not for severe cases on Spondylolysis or cases that have advanced to Spondylothesis. I strongly recommend that you wear a professionally made back brace until your condition is healed. The therapy you learn here does not cure the condition, but helps stabalize it in order to let the bone heal. It also provides more structural support for your back and more flexibility for your hamstrings. This in turn may help prevent any future recurrence. If you are one of the unfortunate ones that suffer from a chronic condition, then there exercises should help support the area and relieve you condition. Be advised that I am not a Sports Doctor, sports therapist, or physical therapist. I was "tentatively" diagnosed with Spondylolysis and this was the therapy was was prescribed for my condition. Fortunately, a bone scan (done much later) cleared me of Spondylolysis.

What you need to know about all Diet plans
I am not a certified nutritionist or a doctor. I do have, however, 30+ years in the the health and fitness world. For those of you who support the calorie counting theories and various "diets", I am aware of the "science" behind these programs. At the same time I am aware of the people I see every day that have tried them and failed. The "formula" so to speak is of my own making from years of observation and years of dealing with people who have up and down weight issues.
The formula is simple age plus activity level plus eating habits equals your body fat percentage. Whereas calorie counters will argue that you find your magical maintenance calorie count, then any calories above add weight and any below subtract it. I have found this not to be the case in real world application. My belief is that within the DNA of every person is a preprogrammed level of body fat for any given combination of eating, activity, and age. Thus when you change one of those variables, your body immediately starts adjusting its body fat count to match what it is preprogrammed to be for that new combination. The transition to this new weight is what we see as weight-loss or weight-gain. When it completes the transition it is what people refer to as "plateau".
Now regarding age, you cannot to anything about that. However, you need to be aware it is a factor. As you age, you naturally put on more fat. This is especially true after your twenties. Thus each year, you need to either eat better or be more active to keep the same weight. I often hear people say they eat healthier and exercise more than they used to, but aren't as thin as they were in their twenties. That is exactly right. They are older. The real question is how much heavier they would have been had they not made these changes.
The next items are eating habits and exercise. Simply put, if you eat better and exercise more, than you will lose weight (or at least not gain as much as you would otherwise)
However, if you become less active and eat worse, you will gain weight.
One of the reasons it is important to understand the above is because that affects the way you view dieting. Too many people get on diets to lose x amount of pounds. When they do, the go back to normal. Of course as soon as they do, they start gaining weight. So, if you are not prepared to stay on some calorie counting diet for life, there is no since in starting one. The same is true for exercise. If your aren't planning to continue the exercise program indefinitely, then there is really no use in starting.
Although I will discuss in detail in future videos how to lose weight, I will share the best concept with you. Weight loss should be done gradually over time, by slowly changing your eating habits. Giving up soft drinks first. Then months later when you no longer miss them, making another adjustment. That way you are actually changing your habits and not having to starve yourself. Best of all, you will be able to continue what you start. The same is true for exercise. Start off slow by walking or doing something else you like. If you do it every day, you will begin to feel better and naturally become more active without having to kill yourself in the gym.

How to treat Spondylolysis... ...stress fracture of the low back (Part 1)
For a Summary of the Therapy click here:
http://fitmart.weebly.com/spondylolysis.html
What is Spondylolysis and how do I cure it? Spondylolysis is basically a stress fracture of the par region of the low back. The pars are the little wing bony structures you see sticking out from a vertabrae. The condition can be acute or chronic depending on how old it is. Acute means it is a recent injury. Chronic means it is an old injury that did not heal before. The main symptom is a dull low back pain that increases when bending backwards and is lessened when bending forward. I was treated for this for over a month at the Sports Clinic when the bone scan finally came in showing I actually did not have the condition. However, I spent so much time discussion the issue with the doctor and therapists, that I chose to make this video for your benefit. The first thing you need to know is to get a custom fit back brace. You will need to wear it 3-6 months. This is very important. Failure to do so dramatically increases your chance of not healing and the problem becoming chronic. You also want to sleep on your side, avoid twisting, avoid the chiropractor, and avoid bending backwards. This video mostly shows the daily therapy to be done to strengthen the core and to activate the proper muscles in order to support your back. In addition to activating the ab muscles, back muscles, and adducters, you will need work out knots in you hips that restrict proper movement. Finally you need to stretch those hamstrings. Like most stress fractures, these are caused by repetitive stresses put on the bone by running, jumping, etc. It usually affects young athletes.
You can find worksheet printouts of the therapy along with a schedule.

Are Sodas Really Bad for You?? How Soft Drinks Affect Weight Loss
Are soft drinks, sodas, and sweetened drinks really all that bad for you? How do sodas affect your weight loss and weight gain. First of all, sodas have absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever. So, for all the problems they cause, you have nothing good to gain from them. If an average person only drank one 16 ounce soft drink a day, that would yield about 200 additional calories each day. Over the course of a year that yields over 70,000 additional calories. If you are one to follow calorie counting and weight loss formulas, that would yield an additional weight gain of 15-20 pounds in a single year. All from one soda. Of course the reverse is true also. Eliminating one soft drink each day from your normal routing can yield a 10-20 pound weight loss in the course of a year. Now imagine if you normally drink 2-4 of these things a day. The results of quitting can have enormous benefits. Imagine being on a weight loss program that doesn't require exercise or changing eating habits. That is exactly what you have. To give you an idea of how much sugar these things have, they average about 10 tsps. of sugar each. To put that into perspective, the next time you eat cheerios for breakfast, try adding 10 tsp of sugar to the mix and see how is goes. That is exactly what you get from one soft drink. But, it isn't all about calories. It is also about the way the sugar hits your blood stream. Instead of digesting slowly throughout the day, the soft drinks sugar hits the blood stream immediately causing a sudden sugar spike. The body counters this by creating a corresponding insulin spike. The insulin begins turning the sugar into fat. This results in a sudden drop in blood sugar. It is called a sugar crash. Your brain interprets the sudden reduction in sugar levels as starvation and triggers sugar cravings and hunger cravings. But, it gets worse. Most sodas contain high fructose corn syrup. This stuff isn't really sugar and has to be processed thought the liver. This has shown to cause liver damage over time. Diet drinks aren't the answer. The sodas still have no nutritional value and are very acidic which causes calcium to be leached from the bones. Can you say osteoporosis. In addition, the artificial sweeteners have been linked to kidney disease, neurological disorders, vertigo, and heart disease. They don't even hydrate you because most have caffeine which is a diuretic. Lastly, the diet drinks still trigger the insulin response which triggers hunger and sugar cravings. The best solution is to drink only water, unsweet tea, and occasional coffee. You may use stevia as a sweetener if you like. Many people have lost weight just giving up Diet drinks. The good news is, after 2-3 months, you will no longer crave the soft drinks and you will be losing weight with no effort what so ever.

Does the P90X3 by Tony Horton Work... ...Free Review of the P90X3 Workout
Free Review of the P90X3 Workout. The P90X3 workout is the lasts video exercise series by trainer Tony Horton. It is generally sold by beach body products. After recovering from a shoulder injury (see how to heal shoulder injury video on my channel), Fit decided to give the P90X3 a go and completed the entire 90 day program.
The program consists of more than a dozen workouts ranging from yoga to pilates and from strength training to cardio. It is a mix of about every possible workout program there is. Pilates, Dynamix, Agility Training, MMX, Cardio, Body Weight Training, Yoga, Weight Training, and you name it. Each workout is about 30 minutes long. This is the good part. It also includes a 3 minute or so warmup. A short warm up is all you need anyway. That's all it takes to get fluid moving in your joints and het your heart started. Unfortunately, that is about all the good I have to say about the product. Like the P90X, the P90X3 has many dangerous exercises. Donkey Kicks, Crane poses, and Plyo push ups to name a few. I feel that these type exercises should not be encouraged as they provide very little benefit and a high risk of smashing your face in. Also, the series lacks focus. It seems they want to expose the customer to all the different types of workouts there are in one series. The result is that you really don't concentrate on one style. For instance, I did push ups on almost every video, but didn't do any mid back strength training. The creates disproportionate muscle development and result in long term injuries. My advice is to save your money and purchase something more tailored to your needs. If you like yoga or pilates, try PIYO by Chalene Johnson. If you like strength training, try traditional P90X by Tony Horton or the Supreme 90 by Tom Holland. IF you want a basic overall workout in 30 minutes and you are a beginner, try Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Lastly, if you like cardio, try Shaun T's Insanity or Focus T25.

Does T25 by Shaun T work? ...How to know?
A complete review of the Focus T25 workout by ShaunT.
The workout is similar to the Shaun T's previous series called insanity. The biggest difference being that Focus T25 is about 20 minutes shorter. Like insanity, the T25 is a very high intensity cardio workout without any breaks for 25 straight minutes. Basically you exercise wide open from start to finish. I compare it to running a 400M dash and at the end the coach telling you to keep going until 25 minutes are up. The good news is that because it is only 25 minutes, it is actually possible to finish this thing. Also, it is very beginner friendly. Yes, beginners can do this workout. They have one of the trainers perform a modified version of every exercise. The modified version is low impact and therefore is safe for people with knee and back issues. The only downside I saw was that there is quite a gap between the beginner/modified version and the normal version. How one would progress between the two is beyond me. Be advised, that Focus T25 is very high impact. I did so much hopping and jumping during this workout series, I managed to pinch a nerve in my foot and had to drop out of the program. That being said, this program is a far cry better than it's big brother "Insanity" The 25 minute time limit is ideal for average human beings wanting to become extremely fit. Also, the beginner modifications make it accessible to a much larger audience. So, yes, this workout works.

Are Carbs Bad For You?... ...How to pick the right carbs?
A quick rundown on what you need to know about eating carbs. Should they be a part of your diet. Should you avoid carbs. Find out here.
The Atkins diets told us we should not be eating carbs. However, vegetarians seem to like diets high in carbs and low in protein. So, who is right?
Well, it all boils down to what kind of carbs you eat. Bad carbs are very bad for you. While good carbs are very good for you. The Atkins people saw the damage bad carbs can do for you and just eliminated them altogether to avoid those problems. However, they threw the baby out with the bath water.
So, what are carbs? Well, to avoid lengthy scientific discussion, just think of carbs that readily turn into sugar in the blood stream. Common Carbs are grains and bread, starches and potatoes, sugar and fruit.
So what are bad carbs? Bad carbs consist of Sugar, White Bread, White Rice, and White Potatoes. These items have a very high glycemic value and turn to sugar almost instantly in the body. When something is converted quickly to sugar, it creates a sugar spike in the blood stream. In response to a sugar spike, you body produces insulin to counter it. Because you received a sudden spike in sugar, your body cannot convert it all to energy, so the insulin converts it to fat for future use. Now, the insulin converts it to fat so fast, your brain notices a sudden sugar drop. This triggers the brain to release a hunger signal and to crave off all things, more sugar. This creates a vicious cycle that wrecks havoc on your body chemistry and can lead to diabetes. Not mention, these bad carbs have absolutely no nutritional value. So you damage your system and get nothing in return.
Now, on the other hand, there are good carbs. Good carbs convert to sugar more slowly thus avoiding the sugar spike cycle. Furthermore, they are full good nutrients. Examples of good carbs are 100% whole wheat bread, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and fruit. So simply sway out your bad carbs with good carbs and you will be well on your way to weight loss and healthy without having to give up anything or count calories.

Does This Workout Work ?? The Fitmart Series
The Fitmart workout series is a free online alternative to the P90x. Like P90X's videos, this program works on the premise of muscle confusion, by hitting a single muscle group each day with a blitzkrieg of exercises. This video reviews the fitmart series and goes into depth regarding the various workouts. The fitmart series workouts are a homemade job that was not ever intended to be a professional production, but was made for those who can't afford beachbody dot com prices. The program consists of 6 workouts each one 30 minutes long to done Mon-Sat with Sunday being a rest day. Workouts include Back and Biceps, Cardio Tabata, Chest shoulders and Tris, Legs, Tabata Total Body, and Core. The program also is great for P90X3 and Insanity followers to just try a change of pace for a week.

How to Cure Your Shoulder (Tendonitis, Bursitis, Impingement)
WWG1WGA
Everyone be advised, this video shows how to treat the cause of your shoulder pain, not the symptoms (inflammation). That will only go away after the shoulder opens up a bit. Takes a few months so don't get discouraged. Sometimes it gets worse before it gets better.
ONE YEAR UPDATE:
1. I am 95% better.
2. I am now down to one round of every stretch and exercise once a day.
3. Will probably need to do that for life.
4. Took one week off of therapy and noticed I shouldn't have..
5. If you are starting this, you will probably get worse before you get better. These stretches can aggravate the inflammation. I noticed more range of motion in one month, but it was four months before the pain started really subsiding.

A complete guide of the home therapy required to treat and heal a painful shoulder due to impingement related bursitis and tendonitis. How to heal your shoulder and how to fix your shoulder. Fit himself suffered terribly from an inflamed shoulder for 6 months. At the very first signs of pain, he began resting his shoulder, modifying his workout, and applying ice every day. Unfortunately things got worse. He finally went to a doctor who gave a cortisone shot and a series of rotator cuff exercises. Unfortunatly, things continued to deteriorate. Eventually, Fit was in constant pain and lost almost all motion of his shoulder. Finally, Fit visited a physical therapist who specialized in Sports Injuries. Initially worried that is was a rotator cuff tear, Fit was told he had an impinged shoulder which was causing inflammation of his bursa and tendons also known as bursitis and tendonitis. The gap in between his shoulder bone and arm bone had narrowed and was rubbing on his tendons and bursa. This video is the treatment prescribed to Fit to help restructure his shoulder and open the gap between the bones. The treatment consisted of performing three different stretches (shoulder stretch, chest stretch, and a cross arm stretch) These stretches were do be done for 30 seconds and 4 rounds. This was to be repeated 4-5 times a day. Also, strengthening exercises were prescribed to help the back muscle pull the shoulders back to their normal position. These exercises were to be done for 2 rounds of 20 reps twice daily. They consisted of straight arm press and variations of back flies. 6 months later, Fit has regained almost full range of motion This video is not intended as a resource for how to fix shoulder tears or other major shoulder injury. It is to address pain from tendonitis and bursitis due to shoulder impingement or impinged shoulder.

Does This Workout Work ??? PiYo (by Chalene Johnson)
Fitmart's review of the PiYo workout series. What you need to know before you buy it. Fitmart goes through the PiYo workout series to see if it lives up to its name. PiYo is program marketed by beach body products and hosted by trainer Chalene Johnson. It is a combination of pilates and yoga, hence the name Piyo. It can best be described as yoga in motion. Instead of holding yoga poses, one just slowly moves from one pose to another. It is geared mostly toward women and is excellent for beginners. the workouts are low impact. However, you will get quite a workout from it. Fitmart is not very good at it, so don't consider his techniques to be proper form. Fitmart Back and Bi's Workout (free p90x style)
This is an intense P90X style workout. You will need weights, a mat, and a pull up bar. Please checkout my website at http://www.fitmart.weebly.com/
The back and bicep workout consists of 24 exercises that take about 30 minutes to complete. If you don't like pull ups, you will not like this workout. If you don't like curls, you will not like this workout. We move very fast between exercises and only allow for a single one minute break in the entire workout. As with all of out workouts, we also include core and abdominal exercises and training. The speed at which we go also make this feel like a cardio routine.
